Hello friends of the B&W community and photography lovers! I'm up early today to finish my final project of the semester. It’s becoming overwhelming balancing work, studies, photography, and a relationship... I’m going crazy! Haha.

Today I bring you a 9-photo series. I went to visit my friend Alex, and while I waited for him, I captured the raw reality of my city. My first photo is a portrait of a man over 70 working as a security guard; it hits hard, but it's part of our reality. Then, the somber reflection on addiction, a sight we often normalize in the third world because we're just trying to survive ourselves. The rest of the series is pure street magic: random conversations, a man carrying a box walking past a memorial for the deceased photography gives us these strange, peculiar moments. I finish with the fatigue of the journey home, the bus conductor at 11 PM, and the quiet of the aisle at the end of the day.

¡Hola, amigos de la comunidad en B&N y amantes de la fotografía! Hoy madrugando para terminar mi último trabajo de la carrera. Está siendo agobiante: entre trabajar, estudiar, fotear y mantener una relación, ¡todo al mismo tiempo! Me vuelvo loco, jaja.

Hoy les traigo una serie de 9 fotos. Visité a mi amigo Alex y, mientras lo esperaba, capturé la realidad cruda de mi ciudad. Mi primera foto es un retrato de un señor de más de 70 años trabajando de seguridad; es algo que choca, pero es parte de nuestra realidad. Luego, la reflexión sobre el vicio, algo que a veces normalizamos en el tercer mundo porque apenas podemos con nosotros mismos. El resto de la serie es pura magia callejera: conversaciones casuales, el hombre con una caja pasando frente a un tributo a un fallecido... la fotografía regala momentos muy extraños. Termino con la mirada perdida del cansancio, la cobradora en la tranquilidad de las 11 PM y el pasillo del bus al final del día.
