Hello friends of the B&W community. I’ve been away for a while, not because I wanted to, but due to external situations that I haven't known how to manage. Those who follow me or read my posts know a bit about my mental health situation. Unfortunately, we don't choose to be born this way; it just happens.

The abandonment and withdrawal of the people you love in your life make you think that over time you become like a rock, but for people with my condition (BPD and bipolarity), we feel things much more intensely. The emotions are brutal: your legs fail you, your digestive system explodes, stomach pains, a tired mind, inconsolable crying, extreme loneliness, and a lack of motivation as if there is no future. Well, that’s what I’ve been going through. Having problems with my partner and feeling like she has distanced herself—not because of infidelity or lack of respect, but because emotions are difficult to manage—you think "what fault is it of mine," but you also see the other side and think, "well, she shouldn't have to put up with this." I am medicated and I try to manage my mental health as best I can, but it is not cheap. In a country abandoned in every aspect, the health system is abysmal, and investing in psychiatry, medicines, and psychology is not something people understand.

I know none of this is important, I just wanted to tell you about my feelings and why I have been away. I hope to return little by little and be able to trust in my art and my refuge, which is photography, even though even in what I love so much, I feel like I'm not good enough for it—one sabotage after another. I leave you with that and a quote from Albert Camus: "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." Positive vibes to everyone, and I wish you the best.

Bueno, eso he pasado.
