Hello Black and White community and MonoMad friends, here I am one more day. How time flies! It's almost been a year since I started sharing my work around here; time flies and the learning experience is deeply rewarding. I hope I can keep it up, to continue growing as a photographer and to achieve my goals.

Like every day recently, I've been attending classes and leaving late at night. It had been a while since I went out to shoot night photography. It's a challenge to fight against high ISO noise and exposure, but I actually love the grain in the photos. I think it gives them authority and a less digital touch that makes me feel more connected to the medium and the exact moment I want to capture.

In this series, unintentionally, I captured many moments of hustle and work: from the convenience food store, the delivery guy, the students, the teacher, the doctor returning home, the churro lady, to the flower seller. Everyone is caught in the daily grind. The nights get crowded with people, couples, hungry folks, and some who are just rushing to be packed like sardines in the bus to get home. I just take a moment to stop and observe.

The winning photo, and the main one of this post, is the guy at "Tambo" selling hamburgers through that small window. Everything is framed around him, from the first architectural frame to the human frame formed by the people waiting their turn. Well, I'll leave you now because I get excited and can't stop writing. Hola, comunidad en Blanco y Negro y amigos del MonoMad. Por acá un día más. ¡Cómo pasa el tiempo! Ya va a ser un año desde que estoy por estos lugares; el tiempo vuela y la enseñanza es gratificante. Espero que así pueda seguir, para poder crecer como fotógrafo y cumplir mis metas.

Como todos los días últimamente, he estado asistiendo a clases y salgo por la noche. Hace tiempo que no salía a tomar fotos nocturnas. Es un reto luchar contra el ruido y la exposición, pero me encanta el grano en las fotos; creo que le da autoridad y un toque no tan digital que me hace sentir más en conexión con la fotografía y con el momento que quiero captar.

En esta serie, sin querer, capté muchos momentos de trabajo y ajetreo: desde la tienda de comida, el repartidor, los que estudian, el profesor, el médico volviendo a casa, la señora de los churros, hasta el vendedor de flores. Todos están en su rutina diaria. Las noches se abarrotan de gente, parejas, personas con hambre, y algunos que solo corren a casa para estar ensardinados un rato en el bus. Yo simplemente me tomo un momento para detenerme a observar.

La foto ganadora y la principal de este post es la del chico del Tambo vendiendo hamburguesas por esa pequeña ventana. Todo está encuadrado con él, desde el primer marco arquitectónico hasta el marco humano que forman las personas que esperan su turno. Bueno, los dejo porque me emociono y no paro de escribir. ¡Muchas vibras y energías como siempre, paz y amor!
