Happy Sunday, community friends! I hope those starting their day are having an incredible one. Today, I want to share a very interesting series of photographs I’ve chosen for this Sunday post.

One of my favorites is the main shot: a girl in the plaza, next to the Cathedral. I love the contrast in scale: the Cathedral looks so imposing while she looks so small. I also started looking up at the sky, finding "frames" of clouds tucked between the high windows of the city. Or the hands of a lonely grandfather, his ring standing out as he warms his hands against the cold.

I’m also sharing a group of friends chatting, where the stone walls create a very interesting composition. Another shot that moved me was one of pure devotion: young girls carrying a saint's platform, where a stuffed frog was tucked in, blending innocence with faith. You'll also see a street cook preparing caldo de gallina—the famous "levanta muertos" breakfast—and a girl alone in a corner, illuminated only by a single streetlamp, or the market entrance at dusk.

These photos tell stories of solitude, hope, and certainty. Sometimes we think we are giants, but standing next to these monuments and these lives, we realize how small we truly are. This series is an invitation to pause and appreciate that beautiful insignificance and the rays of hope that accompany us. I hope you enjoy it!

¡Feliz domingo, amigos de la comunidad! Espero que los que están avanzando en su día estén teniendo una jornada increíble. Hoy les comparto una serie muy interesante que escogí para este post dominical.

Una de las fotos que más me gustó fue la principal: una chica en la plaza, recogiendo algo al costado de la Catedral. Me encanta el juego de escalas: cómo la catedral se ve tan imponente mientras ella se ve tan pequeña. También me puse a mirar al cielo, encontrando marcos de nubes entre las ventanas altas de la ciudad. O las manos de un abuelo sentado en soledad, con su anillo destacando mientras se calienta las manos por el frío.

También les comparto un grupo de amigas conversando, donde los muros de piedra crean una composición muy interesante. Otra foto que me conmovió fue la de la devoción: unas niñas cargando el anda de un santo, donde una rana de peluche se entrelazaba, combinando la inocencia con la fe. Verán también a una cocinera preparando caldo de gallina el famoso desayuno "levanta muertos"y a una chica sola en una esquina, alumbrada únicamente por un poste de luz, o la entrada del mercado al atardecer.

Estas fotos cuentan historias de soledad, esperanza y certezas. A veces creemos que somos gigantes, pero al lado de estos monumentos y estas vidas, nos damos cuenta de lo pequeños que somos en realidad. Esta serie es una invitación a apreciar esa hermosa insignificancia y los pequeños rayos de luz que nos acompañan. ¡Espero que sea de su agrado!
