Concrete Jungle

Street Documentary — Las Vegas

Hello dear Black and White community,

When I traveled to Las Vegas, I was excited and curious to finally see the city everyone talks about.
But as soon as I arrived, I sensed a strange smell of casino coins.
The airport felt surreal, packed with lights and machines. And stepping outside… an unbearable heat.

The city rose like a concrete jungle, bright yet empty on the inside.
Lights, noise, endless streets, but very little humanity.
A landscape where time gets lost in screens and bets.

As Bob Marley once said:
“The sun will not shine in my day today.”

Sometimes, behind all the glitter, all you find is the shadow.

Here’s today’s collection wishing you all strength and good energy ✨

Peace and love.

Thanks for being part of this ongoing #MonoMad Challenge adventure!

Jungla de Cemento

Street Documentary — Las Vegas

“The sun will not shine in my day today.”

The fourth photograph, without words. Beautiful

I stayed at the Trump Hotel; I’ll admit it, I’m kind of ashamed of it now. The view was beautiful, but behind all the “luxury” you can feel that empty, arrogant vibe that reflects the man behind the name. Still, I spent hours recording time-lapses while the city swallowed the night.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

I barely saw the pictures and recognized it as Las Vegas. Two years ago, my wife went and tells me it's just like she saw it in movies and photographs—literally the City of Lights. Cheers!

Visually, Las Vegas is a monster that never stops: alcohol, drugs, debauchery, and a rhythm that consumes everything. I wish I had today’s photographic control back then, so I could share stronger images of that chaos.
One thing’s for sure—the heat is one of the most unbearable I’ve ever felt.
