Hello my black and white community. Yesterday I had a psychiatric appointment, and I took the opportunity to go to Surco, one of the districts I often visit. It was a very hot day—I've already talked about summer in Lima, and this one is going to be extreme. Sometimes here in South America we celebrate Christmas the same way as in the U.S., but we’re at almost 40°C. I honestly don’t know how Santa survives wearing that suit; he should be dressed for summer. But I’ll leave that topic for my Christmas photos.

The streets are already filled with that Christmas spirit that I lost a long time ago. Still, I feel happy for the children because they’re joyful, and I feel emotional for the parents because the debt will be heavy. Anyway, I also wanted to show a bit of the cars in my city—nothing compared to my friends’ cars from Havana, haha. You’ll also see some micros, street vendors, bus collectors, and much more. I hope you enjoy this series and that you’re living the last month of the year with all the energy and peace you deserve. A big hug to everyone.

Hola mi comunidad de en blanco y negro. Ayer tuve cita psiquiátrica y aproveché para irme a Surco, uno de los distritos que frecuento mucho. Fue un día muy caluroso; ya he hablado del verano en Lima y se viene uno fuera de serie. A veces nosotros en Sudamérica celebramos la Navidad como los gringos y acá estamos a 40 grados; no sé de dónde sale Santa con ese traje, debería estar más veraniego, pero ese tema lo dejaré para las fotos de Navidad.

Igual, la calle ya está cargada de ese espíritu navideño que perdí hace mucho. Me alegro por los niños porque son felices y me conmuevo por los padres porque la deuda será fuerte. En fin, también quería mostrar un poco de los autos de mi ciudad, no se comparan con los de mis amigos de La Habana, jajaja. Un poco de micros, ventas en la calle, cobradoras y mucho más. Espero que esta serie les guste y que estén pasando el último mes del año con toda la energía y la paz que se merecen. Un abrazo para todos.
