A beautiful traveling exhibition in Soave

A few days ago, I went to see a beautiful exhibition that was set up in a beautiful medieval village located in the province of Verona and is called Soave, this place in itself is very beautiful because it is very characteristic with this Castle and these Walls that embrace these houses, but every now and then they organize exhibitions, let's say traveling outdoors and it is free to visit and in a simple way, and this one had already been set up for a few months but I had never found the time to visit it and above all it was very difficult in this period because the temperatures here in Italy reached 40 degrees

for me, it was the first time I met this Trentino sculptor called Mattia Sieff, and he is quite young and he basically set up this widespread exhibition called guardians of history where basically his research focuses on the compliant and strong female body as you can see from the photos in search of a first sacred activity and among other things what struck me most of all as you can always see from the photos is this use of very saturated primary colors where the human figures become almost architectural figures we can say but also somewhat primitive figures.

I always wonder if in Italy we are ready for exhibitions of this kind. In fact, there were not many people who visited this exhibition, and unfortunately the thing that I found a little bad was that there were not many explanations about these sculptures that are made of fiberglass. In reality, I know that this artist is also a sculptor of wood and other materials, but in this case I think that even to move them they used a slightly lighter material.

However, I think it is always a nice thing to put contemporary art in dialogue with the artistic context of the Borgo, something very widespread if you have visited Tuscany for example.
