My participation in the Reflection Hunters Contest - #SMARP round #248: First reflections of Christmas! [Eng/Esp]
Hello Shadow Hunters community!Wishing you a happy start to December and a wonderful Christmas! Today I want to share my entry for the Shadow Hunters contest. Since these days of Christmas also signify renewal and change, we're launching a new hashtag: #smarp! So for this round 248 I bring you the first reflection I found on December 1st, and fate would have it that this first post would be Christmas-themed!
The story of this reflection began this morning on my way to the pharmacy for university professors. I had to ask about some vitamins for myself and a calcium and magnesium supplement for my mother. It seemed like any other normal day, but my surprise came just as I entered the teachers' college. There was a Christmas celebration going on—I think in the English-speaking world it would be the equivalent of Christmas carols. These Christmas celebrations are usually held in schools and high schools, and on this occasion, they invited the children of the college's staff to perform in this musical ensemble, and it was wonderful! The best part was that I was able to capture the performance of this musical group in the reflections of the college.

You see, the teachers' pension institute is a large building with spacious rooms, and the offices have dark tempered glass doors that create quite sharp and striking reflections. However, since there are very few professors visiting throughout the year, it's a liminal space—literally a transit space—and very little interesting happens there to be captured by the reflections in these windows. But by celebrating the start of Christmas in these spaces, I had now found a moment that was truly worth capturing its reflection; the joy of the children singing and the teachers participating and dancing was something worth capturing as reflections, my first Christmas reflections.
Of course, the cherry on top of this reflection was the magnificent little tree that almost reached the first floor. My mother loved the way it was decorated, and seeing the little ones sitting and singing at the foot of this great Christmas tree was truly lovely. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed this day! I wasn't expecting this start to the week, but providence intervened to make this first day of December a memory worth treasuring. See you at the next SMARP! Best regards.

Hola hola comunidad de Shadow Hunters! Deseándoles un feliz inicio del mes de diciembre y con ello la navidad, hoy quiero compartirles mi participación en el concurso de Shadow Hunters y como en estos días de navidad también es significado de renovación y cambio estrenamos nueva etiqueta #smarp! Así que para este round 248 les traigo el primer reflejo que encontré este 1ero de diciembre y quiso el destino que este primer post fuera de carácter navideño!
La historia de este reflejo comenzó esta mañana camino a la farmacia para los profesores de la universidad, alli tenía que preguntar por unas vitaminas para mí y un suplemento de calcio y magnesio para mi madre. Parecía un día normal como cualquier otro, pero mi sorpresa llegó justo al ingresar al instituto de profesores, había una parranda navideña, creo que en el norte anglosajón sería el equivalente a villancicos. Estas parrandas navideñas por lo general lo hacen en escuelas y liceos y en esta ocasión invitaron a los hijos de los trabajadores del instituto para que hicieran este ensamble musical y les quedó maravilloso! LO mejor era que pude captar la performance de este ensamble musical en los reflejos del instituto.

Verán, el instituto de previsión de los profesores universitarios es un edificio amplio con salas espaciosas y las oficinas tienen puertas de vidrio templado oscuro que generan reflejos bastante nítidos y muy llamativos, pero como durante todo el año hay muy poca afluencia de profesores para ser atendidos para un espacio liminal es decir un espacio de transito literalmente y muy pocas cosas interesantes pasan aquí como para ser capturadas por el reflejo de estos ventanales. Pero al celebrar el inicio de la navidad en estos espacios , ahora si había encontrado un momento que verdaderamente valía la pena capturar su reflejo, la alegría de los niños cantando y de los profesores participando y bailando era algo que valía la pena capturar como reflejos, mis primeros reflejos navideños.
Por supuesto la cereza en el pastel de este reflejo es el magnífico arbolito que casi llega al primer piso de altura, a mi madre le encantó la forma en que lo adornaron y ver a los pequeños sentados y cantando a los pies de este gran árbol de navidad fue algo verdaderamente lindo. En resumen, disfrute mucho este día! No esperaba de este inicio de semana pero la providencia tuvo una intervención divina para hacer de este primer día de diciembre un recuerdo que vale la pena atesorar. Nos vemos en el próximo SMARP!
