The most legendary trip in my history, City of dreams, Italy, 80pics😍🙀🏞️
I disappeared for a long time cause I was preparing an article about the most legendary trip in my history and I was afraid that there would be no decent feedback regarding the value of this content for me.
Anyway, it's enough to hide in the bushes and I decided to finally tell you this story. This article is not like the others, it is not just a photo session from a drone, it is a whole journey, a big trip with a lot of nuances. We traveled in Italy and lived for a long time in the small town of Basiano in the province of Latina, but we had a cherished dream of going to one unique and magical place, which was located on the same coast but far enough away.
Because the housing was very expensive, we it was not possible to stay close to the destination and therefore we were forced to rent accommodation for a very short period of time in Naples. And from the very morning we set off from Naples, but as we are very lucky, a very rapid downpour began from the very morning, and we got completely wet.
But since it was the only day we set aside specifically to go to that city, we went to the station, got on the train there and headed in the direction of Met. The road was long. From the windows of the train, we could observe the volcano Vesuvius, albeit with difficulty, but still. So, having arrived at the desired station, we already began to see breathtaking mountain scenery and we had to go through incomprehensible iron turnstiles and find the place of our bus stop, which should take us to our destination.
I'll be honest, we didn't even know where to buy tickets, but then it turned out that they were sold at a newsstand. And who would have thought that it was a challenge: try to guess. We got on the bus and headed with a premonition of beauty and slight nausea from the serpentines. The further we drove, the steeper the serpentines, the narrow roads and the breathtaking height of the cliff tickled the nerves. It was one of the most extreme and spectacular views I have seen in my life.
High mountains and even higher cliffs above the sea and ivy greens around created the effect of such nourishment, simply incredible power of nature. And so, after a long journey, we got off at our station and finally realized that legendary unique place of our dreams is in front of us, and it calls Positano. Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, fascinates with its timeless beauty.
Its gorgeous multi-level, colorful city with pastel-colored houses which climb up the steep rocks, creating a picturesque picture that harmoniously combines with the turquoise sea. Mysterious narrow winding streets lead to hidden squares and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Salerno. The aroma of lemon flowers permeates the air, and the sun kisses the facades of the houses, illuminating them with golden light.
Positano is an ode to natural beauty and architectural elegance, a place where time seems to stand still to allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in its timeless magic. This town captured my heart until I lost my breath, and then I'll tell you why.

Despite the fact that we spent a lot of time on such a long road, we only had two hours to explore this city, and if anyone does not understand the seriousness of the situation, then this city, along this entire rock, were arranged like a pyramid of houses, and between these houses there were thin passageways with stairs. Before going down to the sea, I had to walk probably a million stairs, along different lanes.
Although this path is exciting, it is definitely not for those who have little time. Also, I suddenly started running out of battery on my phone, and I just had an unrealistically short timer to take photos with the drone, since the phone acts as a control panel for it. So,at 5% charge, I flew a drone over the sea and took very fast photos and videos.
In addition, it was very bad cloudy weather instead of the sunny weather that normal people usually choose for such trips, but this was our only day when we had the opportunity to go there. And this is how we got lucky: the clouds spoiled half of the view, but I hope that with the help of editing I conveyed at least 50% of the beauty.
So my drone was losing signal every second and I had to maneuver it somehow, 5% on my phone was really nerve wracking for me, I was just praying I would get some pictures. But thank God I didn't lose the drone, which tried to swim far beyond the sea after each disconnection.
With the last of my willpower, I landed the drone safely on the ground before my phone died. And we successfully headed step by step, path by path, stair by stair down to the sea, but as it turned out, I chose the path to the sea through the wrong alleys and the wrong steps, and I ended up on a distant beach that does not go to the main beach, that one from which you can see the value, the panorama of the whole city, so to say the business card on all the tourist posters, and the charge of my phone was only 1%.

the most beautiful bay of this place👆🏻
And realizing this and quickly making a decision, I had to run through bridges, detours along the rock to catch this moment, and you won't believe it - I ran! At the last second I took a selfie with that view and my phone died. Also pay attention that I left my sister and mother there without contact with me, and ran away somewhere.
They were also scared that I had disappeared somewhere, and it was a real adventure that shook both the nerves and the heart and everything possible. And we have no time left for anything. It was almost time for the last bus and it was our only hope to get back to our apartment in Naples. So our whole trip consisted of going down to the sea, taking pictures and going back up.
We did not have the chance to explore all the beauties of this city, all the corners, all the alleys, and to tell you the truth, in order to visit such incredibly unique places, you need more time and definitely not one day. The best way: to rent an apartment and live there for at least a week.
So, I promised to tell you, why this particular city conquered me to the point of losing my breath. Because we had only 10 minutes left to run to the bus, and we had to run up the slope of the rock on the stairs. Imagine that I felt like I was in my 90s at that time. I ran the slowest, I stuttered, I passed, and we ran the risk of not making it to the bus.
For me, it was the hardest climb up the stairs in my life, and I hated this place. But I understand that the city is not to blame, the one who's blame it's me, cause I couldn't calculate the time right.

Ah, the most hated thing from my side about these tourists spot is that the hotels near the main spots are always costing so much.
Most of the time ruining all the fun. But you shared some amazing images to freshen the mood. Amazing blog

yes, It was this nuance that added a 3X level of difficulty to my trip, if you read it, you understood the difficulties I was going through. we couldn't enjoy around qualitatively

It certainly looks like a stunning place - but as you say, there are lots of steps !
Yea, that fucking stairs, I wonder why they still haven't done rope lift or escalator😄
The place looks amazing and the photos! And I definitely agree this isnt something to visit easily. The million stairs sounds scary and as you said, one day wouldnt be enough....At least not for having a pleasant trip. I'm sorry you had to gro through all this. I'm sure someday you'll look behind and smile at all these memories. 😘
Oh thank you for support and kind words, I already laugh from all that 😄💕
We all have these kind of experiences...good thing you're OK now!😍
The green view outside the train window looks very serene, and the view of the valley is also breathtaking. Thank you very much for sending these fascinating pictures.
