Birch is best for my experiments with light. Thin, long and wet birch twigs without leaves create an interesting light effect, which I call a "web of light".

Fotíte v dešti? Já nerad. Mám však jedno místo, které sporadicky fotím jen když prší a je tma.
Výsledek většinou bývá nepublikovatelný. Přesto se, většinou na konci podzimu, nebo v zimě, snažím na daném místě udělat nějakou schopnou fotku.
Proč na podzim, v dešti a ve tmě?
Tmu potřebuji aby „vyniklo“ světlo pouliční lampy. Déšť potřebuji pro odraz světla. Podzim je důležitý proto, aby byly stromy bez listí.
Pro mé pokusy se světlem je nejlepší bříza. Tenké, dlouhé a mokré březové větvičky bez listí totiž vytvářejí zajímavý světelný efekt, kterému říkám „světelná pavučina“.
Pouliční lampa mi slouží jako zdroj světla a tma zajišťuje tmavé pozadí snímku. Na denním světle se totiž efekt „světelné pavučiny“ rozeznává velice těžko.
Minulý týden u nás pršelo a tak jsem šel učinit další pokus o vyfocení výše zmiňovaného efektu. Udělal jsem dvě fotografie. Jednu barevnou a jednu černobílou. Mám totiž pocit, že na černobílé fotografii lépe vynikne odraz světla.

Někdy se musí člověk „namočit“ aby si ověřil základní fyzikální poučku, že světlo se šíří v kruzích :-)

Zajímavý optický jev. Taky už jsem ho jednou vyfotil. Všiml jsem si toho až na té fotce.
Poprvé jsem to viděl strašně dávno. Od té doby se na to aspoň dívám a posledních pár let si to sem tam vyfotím :-)
