Jezdím často služebně na Šumavu. Všímám si přírody kolem sebe a tak mi neuniklo, že v okolí Železné Rudy je několik kolonií bobra evropského.
Dlouho jsem čekal na možnost zastavit a udělat nějaké fotografie. Povedlo se to v pondělí. A nebyl jsem na to sám. Vzal jsem sebou na cestu i dron Tom (Atom Potensic).

I often travel to Šumava for business. I notice the nature around me and so it didn't escape me that there are several colonies of European beaver in the vicinity of Železná Ruda (Plzeň Region, Czech Republic).
I had been waiting for a long time for the opportunity to stop and take some photos. I managed to do it on Monday. And I wasn't alone. I also took the Tom drone (Atom Potensic) with me on the trip.

Nevím jak kde jinde, ale bobři v Čechách si nějak libují ve stavbě svých hrází a plavebních kanálů v relativní blízkosti frekventovaných cest nebo lidských sídel.
Při návratu z Železné Rudy na depo tak bylo jen třeba najít vhodné místo na odstavení náklaďáku, popadnout Toma a vypravit se k jedné z bobřích kolonií.

Díky sněhové pokrývce, nezamrzlé hladině toků a jezírek tak můžete z nadhledu vidět, jak se bobři v této kolonii „snažili“ :-)

A když už byl Tom ve vzduchu, přidám ještě nějaké fotografie s pohledem na okolní kopce a krajinu.
