Prahu dnes bohužel vynecháme. Náš výlet započneme na severu Polska. @cezary-io nás pozval do města Starogard Gdański, 40 km jižně od Gdańska. Čím je toto město zajímavé? Třeba tím, že se tu narodil autor fotografie, městskou radnicí, nebo tím, že v raném středověku patřilo Řádu Německých rytířů. Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce dubna.
Unfortunately, we will skip Prague today. We will start our trip in the north of Poland. @cezary-io invited us to the town of Starogard Gdański, 40 km south of Gdańsk. What makes this town interesting? For example, the fact that the author of the photo was born here, the town hall, or the fact that in the early Middle Ages it belonged to the Order of the Teutonic Knights. The photo won a special prize with the right to participate in an additional competition for the best photo of the month of April.
Posuneme se ještě výš na sever. @vaclavs má v zásobě ještě několik fotografií z Osla (Norsko). Dnes nám nabídl pohled na ikonické sportovní místo. Holmenkollen určitě zná každý fanda skoku na lyžích :-). Fotografie získala první cenu.
We will move even further north. @vaclavs has a few more photos from Oslo (Norway). Today he offered us a look at an iconic sports venue. Every ski jumping fan is sure to know Holmenkollen :-). The photo won first prize.
Z dalekého severu se přesuneme do blízkosti rovníku. @pablito.saldo nás pozval do města Brasília na oslavy 65 výročí založení hlavního města Brazílie. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
From the far north, we will move to the vicinity of the equator. @pablito.saldo invited us to the city of Brasília to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the founding of the capital of Brazil. The photo won second prize.
Trocha adrenalinu neuškodí. Na další zastávce totiž hrozí nedobrovolný ponor do moře. Pokud však znáte čas přílivu, nic takového se vám na King Island (Brisbane, Austrálie), kam nás pozval @new.things, nestane. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

Po březnovém zemětřesení, které postihlo Myanmar, jsem měl obavy o zdraví @ansoe, pravidelného účastníka soutěže. @ansoe ve zdraví přežil a aktivně se účastní na záchranných pracích v Sagaing City. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
After the March earthquake that hit Myanmar, I was worried about the health of @ansoe, a regular participant in the competition. @ansoe survived in good health and is actively participating in rescue work in Sagaing City. The photo won third prize.
Mimořádně uvádím ještě jednu fotografii od @ansoe. Most, který jsme už v soutěži několikrát viděli, byl zničen zemětřesením.
I would like to specially mention another photo from @ansoe. The bridge, which we have already seen several times in the competition, was destroyed by an earthquake.
@actifit-godfish nás pozval do Budapešti. Bohužel, fotografie Parlamentu neměla u poroty úspěch. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

Poslední zastávku si uděláme na „jediném kopci“ v širé rovině nedaleko Pardubic. @tazifit nás pozval na hrad Kunětická hora. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
