Připravit dnešní výlet s ATW byla opět trochu „detektivní práce“. U několika zastávek si opravdu nejsem jistý jejich správným umístěním na mapě trasy výletu.

Deset soutěžních fotografií už dlouho nebylo. Ale není to rekord. Jestli se nepletu, tak už v soutěži bylo i dvanáct fotografií.
A určitě se nepletu, když píši, že destinace třetí zastávky má premiéru na našich výletech.

There have not been ten competition photos for a long time. But it's not a record. If I'm not mistaken, there were already twelve photos in the competition.
And I am certainly not mistaken when I write that the destination of the third stop is a premiere on our trips.

Velkou premiéru má také hlasovací anketa. Každá fotografie si našla svého obdivovatele :-).

The voting poll is also making its big debut. Every photo found its admirer :-).

Čeká nás docela dlouhý výlet, takže už jen pravidelná poznámka a vyrazíme.

Pro mnoho zahraničních turistů je Praha synonymem pro Česko. Skoro všichni znají Pražský hrad, Karlův most nebo orloj na Staroměstském náměstí. Praha má však spoustu dalších zajímavých míst, které běžný turista nenavštíví.
My se dnes podíváme na vyhlídku „Keltské hradiště“ v parku Podvinní, kam nás pozvala @kap1. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

For many foreign tourists, Prague is synonymous with the Czech Republic. Almost everyone knows Prague Castle, Charles Bridge or the Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square. However, Prague has many other interesting places that the average tourist does not visit.
Today we will take a look at the "Celtic fort" viewpoint in the Podvinní park, where we were invited by @kap1. The photo received an award for participation in the competition.

Litoměřice už pro vás nejsou neznámé české město. @krakonos nás znovu pozval na místo, odkud vyfotil spoustu fotografií města. Jsme na starých městských hradbách. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

Litoměřice is no longer an unknown Czech town for you. @krakonos invited us again to the place from where he took a lot of photos of the town. We are on the old town walls. The photo won third prize.

Island. Premiérová destinace na našich výletech s ATW. @vaclavs „opustil“ Beskydy a přijal pracovní nabídku na tomto ostrově. Jako pozvánku na dnešní výlet si vybral fotografii hory Kirkjufell. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

Iceland. The premiere destination on our trips with ATW. @vaclavs "left" Beskydy Mountain and accepted a job offer on this island. He chose a photo of Kirkjufell mountain as an invitation for today's trip. The photo won second prize.

Poprvé vítám v soutěži @friendlymoose. Vypravil se na dovolenou do „zeleného“ Španělska. Jako pozvánku na výlet si vybral zamlženou krajinu u města San Sebastián. Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce července.

Welcome to the @friendlymoose contest for the first time. He went on vacation to "green" Spain. He chose the foggy landscape near the city of San Sebastián as an invitation to a trip. The photo received a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of July.

Ve Španělsku ještě chvíli zůstaneme. @xaviduran nám představuje památku ze seznamu UNESCO. Je to historická budova nemocnice Sant Pau ( de la Santa Cruz y den San Pablo) v Barceloně. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

We will stay in Spain for a while. @xaviduran introduces us to a monument from the UNESCO list. It is the historic building of the Hospital Sant Pau ( de la Santa Cruz y den San Pablo) in Barcelona. The photo won third prize.

Nebyl by to @vcclothing, aby nám nenabídl další úchvatnou scenérii Milford Sound fjordu na jižním ostrově Nového Zélandu. Na mapě serveru mapy.cz je v této oblasti asi šest vodopádů. Doufám, že se mi značku zastávky podařilo umístit správně :-). Fotografie získala první cenu.

It wouldn't be @vcclothing not to offer us another breathtaking scenery of the Milford Sound Fjord in the South Island of New Zealand. On the mapy.cz server map, there are about six waterfalls in this area. I hope I managed to place the stop sign correctly :-). The photo won first prize.

Brisbane (Austrálie) už také skoro známe. @new.things nám nabídl pohled na staveniště Queens Wharf Casino Building. Nejspíše ho tato stavba zaujala při poledním pikniku na protějším břehu řeky :-). Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

We also almost know Brisbane (Australia). @new.things gave us a look at the Queens Wharf Casino Building site. Most likely, this building caught his attention during a lunchtime picnic on the opposite bank of the river :-). The photo received an award for participation in the competition.

A teď jedno větší „grafity“. @suteru nás pozval do Thajska, kde nedaleko města Pattaya mají Buddhovu horu. Podle wikipedia.org, byl tento obraz Buddhy vytvořen na skalní stěně laserem v roce 1996. Více podrobností se dočtete v původním článku autora. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

And now one more "graffiti". @suteru invited us to Thailand, where they have Buddha Mountain near the city of Pattaya. According to wikipedia.org, this image of Buddha was created on a rock face by laser in 1996. Read more details in the author's original article. The photo won second prize.

U této zastávky jsem si jist pouze jednou věcí. Podíváme se na Kavkaz. @eto-ka nás pozval do oblasti Bermamyt Plateu (Rusko), aby nám představil skalní útvar Avatar Rock. Je možné, že pojmenování bylo inspirováno filmem Avatar. Je krajně nejisté, jestli jsem umístil značku zastávky správně. Fotografie získala první cenu.

There's only one thing I'm sure about this stop. Let's look at the Caucasus. @eto-ka invited us to the Bermamyt Plateau area (Russia) to introduce us to the rock formation Avatar Rock. It is possible that the naming was inspired by the movie Avatar. It is extremely uncertain if I placed the stop sign correctly. The photo won first prize.

Poslední zastávku dnešního výletu s ATW si uděláme na pražském Smíchově. @actifit-godfish nás pozval k odpočinku na náplavku u řeky Vltavy. Karlův most asi neuvidíme, ale Vyšehrad nebo rozhlednu na Petříně (malá kopie slavné Eiffelovy věže) snad ano :-). Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

The last stop of today's trip with ATW will be in Prague's Smíchov. @actifit-godfish invited us to rest on the Embankment by the Vltava river. We probably won't see Charles Bridge, but Vyšehrad or the lookout tower on Petřín (a small copy of the famous Eiffel Tower) maybe :-). The photo received an award for participation in the competition.

Pár minut na přečtení a prohlédnutí fotografií a přitom jsme „obletěli“ pořádný kus světa. Troufám si tvrdit, že na výletu s ATW se jeden nestihne nudit :-).

A few minutes to read and look at photos, while we "flied around" a good chunk of the world. I dare to say that one will never get bored on a trip with ATW :-).
