WEEK 192/ That's my Sundays
Hello my dear friends, how are you doing? I hope you are having a happy weekend. I usually go out on Saturdays to do the shopping for the week, among other things that are aimed at ordering everything for the coming week, but Sunday is something else. A day like today, it starts quite early. I get up and get ready to go out, as I like to go to church with my friends and after that, we go for a walk for a while and do various activities, which involve walking and visiting various places, such as squares, stores, ice cream parlors, cafes.
In other times, my weekends were perhaps more busy on Saturdays, unlike Sundays, which was my day to stay at home watching movies, taking naps, in my pajamas if possible, resting to start my work week, but nowadays, as I am retired, Sundays are mostly dedicated to God and to me. I say me, because on this day, my friends and I, give ourselves a treat, we go out to eat ice cream or eat something that provokes us and that afternoon, we are dedicated to walk through the different spaces of my city, where other people like us are in the same tone as us, enjoying a beautiful afternoon, with their families, friends or partners.
During that time, while tasting whatever provokes us, we talk about our week, our personal things, we laugh for a while with our witticisms, we relax a lot, watching life go by, people in their routines, some exercising, others walking their dogs, or simply with their children eating an ice cream or feeding the pigeons; those images are so hypnotizing for me, because they remind me when I used to do the same with my children, when they were little, now everything is so different, but I still enjoy it, but with a different purpose, as it is to do some exercise, keep active, pamper myself a little and share with my friends.

That's right my beautiful friend. In this carnival season I feel some nostalgia, I see the illusion of the children, the parents with their greatest effort for their children to have their costumes. I remember everything I did for my children to have their costumes, I really enjoy seeing the children with their makeup on the other side, when they cry for some reason and the mothers and fathers trying to make them up again. I love being able to enjoy even the breeze, I thank God for all this peace I feel. Today I went off my diet and laughed more than usual. I loved your day Sunday. many blessings!
That's right, my friend, these are memories that come alive when you see the children in their own, playing, dressed up in carnival costumes as they are now and happy.
