Wolna sobota to doskonała okazja do dłuższego wybiegania. Przed południem, kiedy jechałem na fermę po jajka i ziemniaki, widziałem wielu biegaczy. Mimo chłodu zazdrościłem im, że oni już truchtają, a ja muszę najpierw uporać się z domowymi obowiązkami.

[ENG] A free Saturday is the perfect opportunity for a long run. Before noon, when I was driving to the farm for eggs and potatoes, I saw many runners. Despite the chill, I envied them that they were already jogging while I still had to deal with household chores.

W planie treningowym na sobotę miałem 14 kilometrów w narastającym tempie. Pierwsze 5 km spokojnie, następnie 5 km w tempie 6:15 min/km, 2 km w tempie 6:00 min/km i na koniec 2 km w tempie 5:50 min/km. Czternaście kilometrów to prawie piętnaście, więc zdecydowałem, że będzie to doskonała okazja, żeby w końcu po kilku latach pobiec 15 km.

[ENG] My training plan for Saturday included 14 kilometers at a progressive pace. The first 5 km easy, then 5 km at a pace of 6:15 min/km, 2 km at 6:00 min/km, and finally 2 km at 5:50 min/km. Fourteen kilometers is almost fifteen, so I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to finally run 15 km after several years.

Jak zwykle w przypadku dłuższych biegów, największym problemem jest dobranie odpowiedniej trasy. O ile nie mam kłopotów z krótszymi dystansami, to każdy ponad „dychę” wymaga ciągłych kalkulacji w mojej głowie. Podobnie było dziś. Żeby ułatwić sobie trochę zadanie, zacząłem od odcinka wokół cmentarza, a dopiero później skierowałem się do Nimy. W drodze powrotnej kalkulacji było jeszcze więcej, ale finalnie wszystko zakończyło się sukcesem.

[ENG] As usual with longer runs, the biggest problem is choosing the right route. While I don't have trouble with shorter distances, anything over a 10k requires constant calculations in my head. It was the same today. To make the task a bit easier, I started with a section around the cemetery and only later headed to Nimy. On the way back, there were even more calculations, but ultimately everything ended successfully.
