Jesienna pogoda już nas tak nie rozpieszcza, jak to miało miejsce jeszcze tydzień temu. Przez cały dzień z krótkimi przerwami padało. W planie treningowym miałem dziś interwały, które najlepiej byłoby biegać na stadionie. Oznaczało to, że musiałbym specjalnie pojechać do bazy. Przy tak zmiennej pogodzie było to bardzo ryzykowne, bo nawet aplikacje pogodowe nie radziły sobie z przewidzeniem pogody na następną godzinę.

[ENG] The autumn weather isn't spoiling us as much as it did just a week ago. It rained all day with short breaks. I had intervals in my training plan today, which would be best run on a track. This meant I would have to drive specially to the base. With such changeable weather, it was very risky, as even weather apps couldn't cope with predicting the weather for the next hour.

Po południu zdecydowałem się wyjść na marsz z żoną po okolicy, a trening biegowy ewentualnie przełożyć na inny dzień. Trafiliśmy akurat w okno pogodowe, bo przez godzinę w ogóle nie padało, a kwadrans później znów porządnie chlustnęło.

[ENG] In the afternoon, I decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood with my wife and potentially postpone the running workout to another day. We happened to hit a weather window, as it didn't rain at all for an hour, but a quarter of an hour later, it poured down heavily again.

Wieczorem pojechałem na nocną zmianę i zabrałem ze sobą torbę na sport. Liczyłem na to, że uda mi się jednak zrobić zaplanowany trening bez konieczności przekładania. Kiedy wyszedłem na rozgrzewkę, lekko padało, ale później, kiedy biegałem interwały, akurat przestało. Odrobinę obawiałem się tego treningu, gdyż zakładał on 6 razy 400 metrów w tempie 5:00 min/km z jednominutowymi przerwami. W sumie niepotrzebnie się bałem, bo wyszło bardzo dobrze.

[ENG] In the evening, I went for the night shift and took my sports bag with me. I was hoping I would manage to do the planned workout after all, without having to postpone it. When I went out for the warm-up, it was raining lightly, but later, when I was running the intervals, it actually stopped. I was a little afraid of this workout, as it called for 6 times 400 meters at a pace of 5:00 min/km with one-minute breaks. All in all, I was worried for nothing, because it turned out very well.
