Dni są coraz krótsze, dlatego w ostatnim czasie na moich zdjęciach pojawiają się zachody słońca nad Mons i okolicami. Przyzwyczailiśmy się z żoną wychodzić na trening lub marsz po południu, a późną jesienią to oznacza chwilę przed zmrokiem. Nie inaczej było dziś.

[ENG] Days are getting shorter, which is why sunsets over Mons and the surrounding areas have been appearing in my photos lately. My wife and I have become accustomed to going out for a workout or a walk in the afternoon, and in late autumn, that means just before dark. Today was no different.

Miałem do wykonania zaległy trening tempowy. Wczoraj żartowałem tylko, że przestraszyłem się tego treningu. Po prostu dzień wcześniej zrobiłem kilka przysiadów i pompek. Podszedłem do tego zbyt ambitnie, bo przypłaciłem zakwasami. Wczoraj się poprawiłem, więc dziś siadanie i wstawanie z fotela było wyzwaniem.

[ENG] I had a postponed tempo run to complete. Yesterday, I was just joking that I was scared of the workout. I simply did some squats and push-ups the day before. I approached it too ambitiously because I paid for it with muscle soreness. I remedied that yesterday, so today, sitting down and getting up from the chair was a challenge.

Mimo tego nie chciałem odkładać biegu tempowego na inny termin, szczególnie, że nie był szczególnie wymagający. Po półtora kilometrowej rozgrzewce w tempie spokojnym, kolejne dwa kilometry miałem przebiec w tempie 5:40 min/km, 2 minuty marszu, a następnie kilometr w tempie 5:30 min/km, na koniec półtora kilometra spokojnego biegu. Wszystko wykonane w założonym lub nawet lepszym tempie. Takie interwałowe treningi bardzo mi pasują.

[ENG] Despite this, I didn't want to postpone the tempo run to another date, especially since it wasn't particularly demanding. After a 1.5-kilometer warm-up at an easy pace, I had to run the next two kilometers at a 5:40 min/km pace, followed by 2 minutes of walking, then one kilometer at a 5:30 min/km pace, and finally, 1.5 kilometers of easy running. Everything was executed at the planned or even better pace. These interval workouts suit me very well.
