Z planowaniem dzisiejszego treningu biegowego był pewien problem. Według planu miałem przebiec 12 kilometrów, ale ograniczeniem było to, że jestem w pracy. Moja przerwa to tylko godzina; w weekend mogę pozwolić sobie na kilka minut więcej, ale nie mogę przesadzać.

[ENG] There was a problem planning today's running workout. According to the plan, I was supposed to run 12 kilometers, but the constraint was that I was at work. My break is only one hour; on the weekend, I can allow myself a few extra minutes, but I can't overdo it.

Pewnym ograniczeniem jest (było) to, czy spotkam szefa w szatni przed wyjściem na trening. Niestety, ma on taki zwyczaj, że w soboty przyjeżdża na saunę i czasami spotykam go przed wyjściem na trening. Tym razem było bezpiecznie, bo nie spotkałem szefa przed wyjściem na trening, więc nie wiedział, ile czasu spędziłem na przerwie.

[ENG] A certain limitation was whether I would meet my boss in the changing room before heading out for the workout. Unfortunately, he has a habit of coming in for a sauna on Saturdays, and sometimes I run into him before going for a run. This time it was safe because I didn't meet the boss before heading out, so he didn't know how much time I spent on my break.

Dystans był kolejną niedogodnością. Mam opanowane kilka wariantów biegu na różnych dystansach po bazie, ale żaden nie zakłada biegu powyżej 10 kilometrów.

[ENG] The distance was another inconvenience. I have mastered several running variants for different distances around the base, but none of them involve a run longer than 10 kilometers.

Dużym ułatwieniem był podział zadanego dystansu na kilka fragmentów, gdzie każdy następny miał być szybszy. Myślałem, że będzie to problemem, ale okazało się to doskonałym planowaniem. Do pełni realizacji planu potrzebowałem jedynie kontrolowania dystansu. Kiedy po 7,5 kilometra udało mi się „złapać” odpowiedni dystans, wiedziałem, że uda mi się zrealizować cel. W mojej ocenie było to doskonałe dopasowanie, ale Garmin wycenił go tylko na 86%.

[ENG] A great simplification was dividing the required distance into several segments, with each subsequent one intended to be faster. I thought this would be a problem, but it turned out to be excellent planning. For the plan to be fully realized, I only needed to control the distance. When I managed to "catch" the right distance after 7.5 kilometers, I knew I would achieve the goal. In my assessment, it was a perfect match, but Garmin only rated it at 86%.
