Pojechaliśmy wczoraj na zakupy do Francji. Lubię zerknąć, jakie książki pojawiają się na francuskim rynku i ku mojemu zaskoczeniu, wśród nowości dostrzegłem książkę Remigiusza Mroza „Pénitence”. To nic innego jak pierwszy tom serii z komisarzem Forstem – „Przewieszenie”. Ciekawe, jak autor radzi sobie na francuskojęzycznym rynku.

[ENG] We went shopping in France yesterday. I like to check out what books are appearing on the French market, and to my surprise, among the new releases, I spotted a book by Remigiusz Mróz titled "Pénitence." It's none other than the first volume of the Commissioner Forst series – "Przewieszenie." I wonder how the author is doing on the French-speaking market.

W Garminie w ten weekend jest biegowe wyzwanie – przebiec 10 kilometrów. W związku z tym, że na sobotę i niedzielę mam plany wyjazdowe, nie zostało mi nic innego, jak uporać się z tym wyzwaniem już pierwszego dnia. W nocy trochę popadało i liczyłem na znaczne ochłodzenie. Pewnie gdybym mógł wyjść na trening przed południem, to byłoby dużo łatwiej, niestety nie miałem takiej możliwości. Wyszedłem dopiero około 17:00. Duchota i temperatura nie ułatwiały treningu. Przez pierwsze pięć kilometrów radziłem sobie dość dobrze, cały czas utrzymując tempo poniżej 6 min/km. Druga część dystansu była nieco wolniejsza. Na koniec z koszulki i spodenek wycisnąłem prawie pół litra potu. Cieszyło mnie, że wyzwanie zaliczyłem.

[ENG] On Garmin this weekend, there's a running challenge – to run 10 kilometers. Since I have travel plans for Saturday and Sunday, I had no choice but to tackle the challenge on the first day. It rained a bit during the night, and I was hoping for a significant cool-down. It probably would have been much easier if I could have gone for the run before noon, but unfortunately, I didn't have the chance. I didn't head out until around 5:00 PM. The humidity and temperature didn't make the workout any easier. For the first five kilometers, I was doing quite well, keeping a steady pace below 6 min/km. The second half of the distance was a bit slower. At the end, I wrung out almost half a liter of sweat from my shirt and shorts. I was happy that I completed the challenge.
