Déjà vu, tylko że tym razem to żona czekała cały dzień na pielęgniarkę, która przyjeżdża co cztery tygodnie, aby dać jej zastrzyki. Od lat jest to samo – na palcach jednej ręki mógłbym policzyć, ile razy pielęgniarki przyjechały bez telefonu przypominającego o wizycie. Dzisiaj też tak było: zjawiła się dopiero o 18:00, a żona czekała od rana. Mieliśmy wspólne plany, ale musieliśmy je odłożyć na inny dzień.

[ENG] Déjà vu, except this time it was my wife waiting all day for the nurse who comes every four weeks to give her injections. It's been the same for years – I could count on one hand the number of times the nurses have shown up without a reminder phone call. It was the same today: she only showed up at 6:00 PM, and my wife had been waiting since morning. We had plans together, but we had to postpone them for another day.

Nadal jest bardzo gorąco, dlatego na treningi biegowe decyduję się wieczorem. Wczorajszy trening ponownie wymagał ode mnie biegania w zadanym tempie 06:29-07:13 min/km, czyli o kilka sekund szybciej niż w poniedziałek. Czas treningu wynosił 30 minut. Myślałem, że będzie to łatwizna, ale konieczność stałego kontrolowania tempa sprawiła, że czułem się wykończony. Zdecydowanie bardziej podobają mi się biegi w spokojnym i komfortowym tempie. Chyba muszę jeden dzień treningowy odpuścić, a w zamian zrobić sobie spokojne bieganie we własnym tempie, inaczej wcześniej czy później dotknie mnie kryzys.

[ENG] It's still very hot, which is why I decide to do my running workouts in the evening. Today's workout again required me to run at a set pace of 06:29-07:13 min/km, which is a few seconds faster than on Monday. The workout time was 30 minutes. I thought it would be a piece of cake, but the need to constantly control my pace made me feel exhausted. I definitely prefer runs at a relaxed and comfortable pace. I think I need to skip one training day and, in its place, do a relaxed run at my own pace; otherwise, sooner or later, I'm going to hit a wall.
