Mój plan na wczorajszy dzień był zupełnie inny. Chciałem podjąć wyzwanie @bucipuci, ale okoliczności były niesprzyjające i skończyło się, tak jak się skończyło, czyli kontrolowaną porażką. Przez zupełny przypadek trafiliśmy wczoraj do La Louviere, a spacerując po mieście, co krok naszym oczom ukazywały się kolejne murale. Jedne pokrywały całe ściany budynków lub ceglane mury, inne były sytuacyjne, jak ten z Homerem Simpsonem i skrzynką przekaźnikową.

[ENG] My plan for yesterday was wholly different. I wanted to take up the @bucipuci challenge, but the circumstances were unfavourable, and it ended as it ended, with a controlled failure. By complete accident, we came to La Louviere yesterday, and while walking around the city, we saw new murals every step of the way. Some covered entire sides of buildings or brick walls, others were situational, like the one with Homer Simpson and the relay box.

Na dziewięciu przęsłach muru Leon Keer wykonał pracę przedstawiającą dziewięć fragmentów ceramiki. Ceramiki, która powstawała dawniej w La Louviere. Fragmenty te tworzą jeden obiekt. [ENG] On nine spans of the wall, Leon Keer made a work depicting nine fragments of pottery. Ceramics that were formerly made in La Louviere. These fragments form one object. The mural is located next to the Keramis-Centre de la Céramique, where you can learn about the history of ceramics and many examples of the ceramics produced.

Tuż obok jest mural autorstwa Samuela Idmtala zatytułowany "Childhood's Bridge". W ten sposób opisuje swoje dzieło: "Dzieciństwo, które tworzy więzi między ludźmi, między różnymi światami. Dzieci, które tak często sprawiają, że podnosimy głowy i obserwujemy rzeczy, których już nie widzimy, przytłoczeni życiem i jego piekielnym rytmem. Zwolnij, zatrzymaj się i kontempluj." Symbolika kolarska jest nie bez powodu, mural ten ma zostać włączony do trasy rowerowej Vhello umożliwiającej odkrywanie miasta za pomocą murali.

[ENG] Right next to it is a mural by Samuel Idmtal titled "Childhood's Bridge". He describes his work this way: "Childhood, that creates bonds between people, between different worlds. Children who so often make us raise our heads and observe things that we no longer see, overwhelmed by life and its hellish rhythm. Slow down, stop and contemplate." The cycling symbolism is there for a reason, this mural is to be included in the Vhello cycle route, allowing you to discover the city through murals.

Centrum La Louvier zostało określone przez moją żonę jednym słowem: "betonoza". Dwa duże place w centrum miasta zabetonowane, za rolę drzew pełnią rzeźby i instalacje artystyczne. Wzdłuż drogi łączącej te place jest co prawda kilka drzew, ale zostały one niedawno zasadzone i minie dużo czasu, zanim będą dawać cień i wytchnienie.

[ENG] The centre of La Louvier was described by my wife in one word: "concrete". Two large squares in the city centre are concreted, with sculptures and artistic installations acting as trees. There are a few trees along the road connecting these squares, but they were recently planted, and it will take a long time before they will provide shade and respite.

Ostatnią z prac zatytułowano "Les arts de la scène" (sztuki sceniczne), belgijskie artystki Zouwi i Soaz oddały w ten sposób hołd dla artystów cyrkowych.

[ENG] The last work was titled "Les arts de la scène" (stage arts), and Belgian artists Zouwi and Soaz paid tribute to circus artists.
