A big hello to the #photographylover community! Today I bring you these street photos where black and white dominates the entire scene, along with these stories that accompany each photograph.

Street photography carries a lot of weight in telling a story. When I took this photograph, the lady looked at me weirdly because she didn't know what I was doing or why I was doing it to her. This reminded me of Bruce Gilden's photographs, with his characteristic style of photographing people, with many faces very similar to this one. When people look at you like that, it's because they don't know what you're doing or they don't like what you're doing, and those expressions are special and say a lot in a photograph.

La fotografía callejera tiene mucho peso al contar una historia. Cuando tomé esta fotografía, la señora me miró raro porque no sabía lo que hacía y por qué se lo hacía a ella. Esto me recordó a las fotografías de Bruce Gilden, con su estilo tan característico de retratar personas, con muchos rostros muy parecidos a este. Cuando las personas te miran así, es porque no saben qué estás haciendo o no les gusta lo que estás haciendo, y esas expresiones son especiales y hablan mucho en una fotografía.

The woman who bears all burdens, even in her own life. This type of person feels as if behind bars, carrying everything around them. They do everything for their family, for their sick husband; even to survive, they go out to face life. This photo completely reflects that reality.

La señora que carga con todo, incluso en su vida. Este tipo de persona se siente entre rejas, cargando con todo a su alrededor. Hace todo por su familia, por su esposo enfermo; incluso para sobrevivir, sale a resolver la vida. Esta foto refleja totalmente esa realidad.

When you take a photo that you find interesting and in your town they are not used to commonly seeing that type of photography, some people pose for the photo, others scorn you and stand there ignorant of the situation. On this occasion, she chose to pose for the photo, allowing me to capture a moment that will be etched into history.

Cuando tiras una foto que te parece interesante y en tu pueblo no están acostumbrados a ver habitualmente ese tipo de fotografía, algunos posan para la foto, otros te desprecian y se plantan ignorantes ante la situación. En esta ocasión posó para la foto, logrando capturar un momento que quedará para la historia.

They were too far away; my lens couldn't capture them from where I was standing. To take the photograph, I had to get close enough to photograph them both subtly. I suppose that, being elderly, they didn't notice me. Without a doubt, at first I felt very embarrassed to photograph them, until you finally take the picture and that embarrassment disappears.

Estaban demasiado lejos; mi lente no alcanzaba a capturar desde donde yo estaba. Para tomar la fotografía, tuve que acercarme lo suficiente como para retratarlos a ambos de manera sutil. Supongo que, al ser personas mayores, no se percataron de mi presencia. Sin duda, al principio me daba mucha vergüenza fotografiarlos, hasta que logras tomar la imagen y esa vergüenza desaparece.
