Hoy les traigo un tema al que quizás no se le presta mucha atención, pero es uno de los más esenciales dentro del mundo de la fotografía: cómo el mínimo cambio puede afectar el concepto y el rumbo de tu fotografía.

Experimentando un poco con algunas de mis fotografías, me di cuenta de que muchas las convertía a blanco y negro para que reflejaran un concepto claro: una vida en blanco y negro donde las siluetas se marcan perfectamente y las arrugas se definen para mostrar decadencia. Pero antes de modificarlas, todas estaban a color. Solo alguien con visión sabe que, al transformar una fotografía a blanco y negro, se crea otro concepto.

Esta imagen crea una forma en blanco y negro: la de un pescado. Pero cuando está a color, forma la silueta de un hombre con sombrero. Solo es un cambio de color y de perspectiva lo que altera el concepto. El desgaste se nota más en la foto en blanco y negro, mientras que a color crea algo más cálido.

Lo mismo ocurre con poner y quitar un objeto de su posición. Al quitarlo, puede reflejar soledad o abandono; pero cuando lo colocas, dependiendo del gesto, puede reflejar estados de ánimo e incluso una forma expresiva del cuerpo.

La fotografía posee un concepto, y desde mi punto de vista, en la fotografía callejera hay varios elementos que pueden alterarlo completamente. Esto puede volverse algo complicado a la hora de salir con la cámara.

Today, I bring you a topic that might not get much attention but is one of the most essential in the world of photography: how the smallest change can affect the concept and direction of your photograph.

While experimenting a bit with some of my photos, I realized that I converted many of them to black and white to reflect a clear concept—a life in black and white where silhouettes are perfectly outlined, and wrinkles are defined to show decay. But before editing them, they were all in color. Only someone with a vision knows that transforming a photograph into black and white creates another concept.

This image creates a shape in black and white: that of a fish. But when it's in color, it forms the silhouette of a man with a hat. It is only a change in color and perspective that alters the concept. The wear and tear are more noticeable in the black-and-white photo, while in color, it creates something warmer.

The same happens with adding or removing an object from its position. Removing it can reflect loneliness or abandonment, but when you place it, depending on the gesture, it can reflect moods and even an expressive form of the body.

Photography has a concept, and from my point of view, in street photography, there are several elements that can completely alter it. This can become somewhat complicated when going out with the camera.
