Afternoon Forest Walk with the 800mm lens

avatar

A day off, and sun, while the rest of the family is still recovering from the flu. What better to do then take a nice and long walk in the forest with the good old 800mm ultralong lens?

It came out nice, nicely blurred, and I'm looking for a long lens

Thank you! The RF800 f 11 really is a great lens, nice bokeh, and super sharp. All that for a very reasonable price. It's not a match for the RF70-200 f2.8, but of course, the versatility and especially the price is quite different as well.

I am thinking about 100 400 rf is more universal but I am considering 600 or 800

Used to have the 100-400ef, and loved it as well. And indeed, way more flexible. The only thing with the 400 is that it’s often not long enough. But that’s the same with the 800 in the end! 😂😂😂

I'll probably try it myself sometime

Best thing to do, try it out. Best even on the subjects you like to shoot.

I mainly shoot landscapes, but sometimes 400 will come in handy. And an animal comes along, 600 or 800 can also be useful, glasses are never enough
