LOW TIDE ON THE BEACH

As mentioned in the title, the tide was low, and this opening photograph is very good at illustrating that fact. The rocks protruding from the sea, don't protrude as much when the tide is high.

Only a few fragments can be seen when the sea in the bay is at its highest. In this photograph, you can see a hooded crow approaching the stranded floating barrier of the beach. The thing looks a bit like a giant worm, slightly surreal near the small bird

Quite a few birds were enjoying the sunny day on the rocks of the low-tide archipelago just outside the inlet. They looked a bit like tourists to me. Like a bunch of feathered winter tourists in the January silence. Here you can see the seagulls.

Cormorants were also there.

In this wide shot, you can see the entire beach.

This collection of driftwood wasn't there the last time I visited the place, a couple of weeks ago

Here you can take a look at the sailing boats in another inlet, a couple of hundred meters from the beach.

This is some summer stuff across the bay. It looks like a beach bar or something like that.

And that's all. The post ends here.

In today's post, you'll see (or just saw) nine photographs, taken in a place that appeared many times in my older and more recent publications here on HIVE. Liznjan's harbor and the nearby beach. I said that many times in similar posts, but I'll repeat it here nonetheless, Liznjan is a village situated not far from where I live. Only about three kilometers from my hometown. This time the low tide was very low. That caught my attention, I took a bunch of photographs, and now, another slightly repetitive post about Liznjan's beach & harbor is here. Enjoy it if you can.

AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.

Nice work with the pictures! Fascinating what is left from the low tide, things abandoned, vintage objects and who knows. It's a form of mistery

Beautiful blue sea with calm atmosphere. Only three kilometers from your town! So nice to be near the seaside. It would take me some 140 kilometers to the nearest seaside town. No swimming or watching sunset in the sea for ages. I miss the sea and the sea air.

You have done your work always very wonderfully. Going to the sea listening to its waves and watching the birds playing is a very beautiful sight. Traveling in a boat is also a different pleasure. Your photography skills is very impressive. Overall your photography is awesome but forth picture is my favorite in your photography. Thanks for sharing.

The sea looks so calm. There are instant islands during low tide.

The floating piece of wood looks like part of an old boat, the sea beach is really strange

Amazing pictures of the birds and rocks. 🤩
For a minute, I thought I was seeing a huge albino snake. 😱😅

Why wouldn't we be able to enjoy it? I'm forced to ask.
Your capturing is marvelous.
The picture of the protruding rocks, weren't the ricks a bit far from the beach or were you in a boat or something ?

Thanks. 🙂 Glad you like the post. I often photograph the same place so maybe it could look a bit repetitive. But then, each day is different so the same things can be always interesting. Glad you enjoyed the post. The rocks aren't very far from the beach, actually. I mean, not too far for a camera with good zooming. I was standing on the beach.
