JUST ONE LITLLE BEE TODAY
The title says all. This is a concise, minimalist post. The reasons are the usual ones. Lack of free time. High temperatures. Lack of concentration and energy. A certain dose of seasonal laziness also played a role.

You can see a small bee in the only photograph of today's post. A small bee from the Halictidae family. The name of the species is Lasioglossum malachurum. The species already appeared in quite a few of my posts, but the photograph shown here is brand new. I mean, unpublished. It was taken in 2008, actually.

The details shown on the Bee Body are commendable. I have enlarged the picture to see it more clearly. It took about 20 seconds for the picture to open properly. Is there any white thing on the tip of its hair or is it a camera lightening effect?

I understand that it can be difficult to find the time and energy to create content, especially during the summer months. But this one is a beautiful bee.
