FIFTEEN SHOTS FROM THE SIXTEEN OF MARCH 2016

I woke up early that day so today's post will start with the refreshing morning dew.

This is the Anemone hortensis flower.

The cobwebs covered with droplets looked great in the morning sunlight.

I photographed two webs on that occasion.

Here you can see the small spider ...

... that was hanging on the silky threads.

Compared to the spider, the web was enormous.

In this photograph, the droplets have decorated the Muscari comosum flowers.

Here you can see the small fruits of the Juniperus oxycedrus shrub, while in the following photograph ...

... I'm presenting you the small but beautiful wild orchid - the Anacamptis papilionacea, commonly known as the pink butterfly orchid.
I don't remember all the details of that day but I have a vague recollection that the morning photographs were taken in the meadows just outside my hometown. I was probably picking the edible wild asparagus shoots there and I took a couple of shots along the way, inspired by the morning dew.
I wasn't so much into photography in 2016 and I was using only a small, half-broken compact camera that had quite a few limitations.
In 2020, a year after starting my blog on Hive, after seeing the potential for earning crypto & having fun with photography, I bought a better camera. That springtime I photographed plenty of plants, spiders & insects but I haven't picked one single asparagus shoot.

Later that day (I mean, the 16th of March 2016) I photographed a friend that was sniffing around the red roses in my front yard. I remember that the day was very warm around noon, in stark contrast with the cold and humid morning.

Here you can see two freshly washed jackets ...

... that were hanging in the backyard.

This photograph was taken in the lobby of the veterinary clinic, which means that I visited the nearby city of Pula in the afternoon.

Judging by the light, this photograph was taken in the late afternoon. Judging by the content of the pic, I was reading a comic book in front of the house and one of my cats was keeping me company.

In this last shot, taken in the evening, you can see a small jewel of makeshift pet architecture that doesn't exist anymore. No cat nor dog ever used this thing so it was dismantled a year or two later.

I like the webs with morning dew in them plus the dwellers. Wet look photography is really stunning 😍 💖 Oh that pet house is so cute, but I guess my furbabies still choose to steal my bed that being in that beautiful house. Lol, have a wonderful day 😊

You are extremely knowledgeable wrt plants.. did you study them? As always, awesome photos.. I like the idea of capturing the little droplets that that - came out dope! Stay safe mate.

That's so dope! I learn loads from scouring the depths of the internet too! It allows me to travel in my mind, to places which would otherwise only be a distant dream. One of the few cool things bout our modern times I reckon. Stay safe mate.

Hahaha, cats are famous of reading comics. My parents' cat, Kiki, was doing it too and there was also a picture of it 😂

Marvelous macros.... 🧐 I want to shoot such a wet spiderweb myself already for 2 years... 🤩🤩🤩 but cant get up early in the morning enough for that, lol. Have some Hive !PIZZA and !DHEDGE as an extra
