AUTUMN TRAPPED INSIDE AN OLD FOLDER

This opening shot was taken somewhere in the central part of Istra, the peninsula on which I live. A friend was posing with a simple scarecrow. Or more like, just the clothes that remained in the vineyard when the scarecrow left in search of adventures.
Here you can see a bit of autumnal foliage and the lovely red berries of the Smilax aspera plant.
This spider was photographed in Medulin, my hometown ...
... in the local cemetery, to be more precise.
The spider was waiting in ambush on the false, plastic Calla lily flowers. I like to imagine that he caught a plastic fly later that day.
Philodromus rufus is the name of this species from the running crab spider family (Philodromidae)
Here you can see a simple mix of cream and persimmon fruit. The soft, ripe fruits look and taste almost like a marmalade. In the following six-shot series ...
... you can see me eating that fruity breakfast. The thing tasted better than it looked.
In this last photograph, a friend is talking with one of my cats. The one called Farabuto. Farabuto always likes to know what local supermarket has to offer at discount prices.
In this post, you can see some old stuff found in one of my old folders from the year 2016. Since I had only a small, half-broken compact camera back then, the visuals are pretty muddled and grainy. But that lo-fi style kinda fits the theme. It conveys the feel of old, washed-up memories.
