ANOTHER MORNING IN THE HARBOR
You can take a look at the setting, the wider scenery of the bay, in this opening photograph. In the following shot, you can take a better, more up-close look at the plants shown in the foreground of this picture.
This is the Halimione portulacoides, commonly known as the sea Purslane. The leaves are edible. Very tasty. Raw or cooked.
There is a small playground for children in the park, there in the harbor. Here you can see a detail of the swing and the ground underneath it excavated by the feet of many children.
This big old pine is part of the park since who knows when.
The tree is always decorated with many cones.

This hooded crow has found a piece of watermelon for breakfast.
Here you can see the window of a small abandoned shack. One of quite a few little buildings used to store the fishing equipment and stuff needed for repairing that equipment and the fishing boats.
Early this morning, after buying some stuff in one of the two supermarkets in my hometown, I drove a couple of kilometers to the harbor of the nearby village that goes by the name of Liznjan. I visit that place often, so it often appears in my posts here on HIVE. Fortunately, the small harbor of Liznjan offers plenty of interesting details in every season, and that abundance of things to photograph makes avoiding the monotonous repetition easier.

It looks like the pine tree is very nicely decorated but this part of the tree looks like it is dying in the middle of the greenery. However, I have seen few such trees. You have shared some beautiful photography.
The harbour in the background of the first picture looks very peaceful, calm water and boats. I have not heard about Halimione portulacoides before, interesting to learn that it is possible to eat them. The pine tree is amazing, I did not realize that cones are often are hidden inside. I wonder if there are any edible seeds inside?

Seeing this swing reminds me of when I was little, where at that time I was still living without any burdens, my mind was only filled with the words play, play and play
