Hello friends, I want to share some exciting news with you all 🙏 About 2 years ago, we bought our dream family RV. Granted, it was not road-ready right away, but my husband and I (mostly my husband 😄) have been putting in a ton of work for the day when it will be.
Hola amigos, quiero compartirles una noticia emocionante 🙏 Hace unos dos años, compramos la autocaravana familiar de nuestros sueños. Si bien no estaba lista para circular de inmediato, mi esposo y yo (sobre todo mi esposo 😄) hemos estado trabajando arduamente para el día en que lo esté.
My husband has been putting in a lot of work for the interior. Already he has managed to completely winterize the interior! Right now, in the middle of winter, we experience brutal temperatures of -15 degrees Celcius. However, my husband has managed to insulate the interior so well that it is nearly 30 degrees warmer inside! 🙏❤️
Mi esposo ha estado trabajando mucho en el interior. ¡Ya ha logrado acondicionarlo completamente para el invierno! Ahora mismo, en pleno invierno, sufrimos temperaturas brutales de -15 grados Celsius. Sin embargo, mi esposo ha logrado aislar el interior tan bien que hace casi 30 grados más de calor. 🙏❤️
This week, he did something even more extravagant, this time for our young daughters... Once we are moved in, the girls will be sharing bunk beds. This will be their first time sleeping in their own beds. In order to make it as appealing and comfortable as possible, my husband created cloud ceilings and blackboard walls for our daughters 🥰
Esta semana, hizo algo aún más extravagante, esta vez para nuestras hijas pequeñas... Una vez que nos mudemos, las niñas compartirán literas. Será la primera vez que duerman en sus propias camas. Para que fuera lo más atractivo y cómodo posible, mi esposo creó techos de nubes y paredes de pizarra para nuestras hijas. 🥰
This set up is phenomenal! With only two materials -- cotton stuffing and LED light strips -- my husband managed to create a magical kaleidoscope of colours. The walls were completed with blackboard paint, and since it is just like the real thing, the girls have been able to draw with chalk!
¡Este montaje es fenomenal! Con solo dos materiales —relleno de algodón y tiras de luces LED—, mi marido logró crear un mágico caleidoscopio de colores. Las paredes se pintaron con pintura de pizarra, y como es igualita a la de verdad, ¡las niñas han podido dibujar con tiza!
I honestly cannot thank my husband enough for everything that he has done. Although this work has taken longer than anticipated -- almost 2 years, to be exact -- I must show appreciation for all of his hard work. He has learned this RV inside and out, from knowing very little about automobiles, to doing everything in his power to get it running. He has completely redecorated the interior: painting and stripping, ornaments, insulation, lighting... He installed a wood burning stove. He is a formidable man 💗...
Sinceramente, no puedo agradecerle lo suficiente a mi esposo por todo lo que ha hecho. Aunque este trabajo ha llevado más tiempo del previsto (casi dos años, para ser exactos), debo expresar mi agradecimiento por todo su esfuerzo. Ha aprendido a fondo esta autocaravana, desde saber muy poco sobre automóviles hasta hacer todo lo posible para que funcionara. Ha redecorado por completo el interior: pintando y decapando, los adornos, el aislamiento, la iluminación... Instaló una estufa de leña. Es un hombre formidable 💗...
During the day of this big reveal, the girls did NOT want to leave 😂 They must have stayed in their bunk beds for nearly 3 hours! They absolutely love what their daddy has done to their bedroom 🥰
Durante el día de esta gran revelación, las niñas NO querían irse 😂 ¡Debieron de estar en sus literas casi 3 horas! Les encanta lo que su papá les ha hecho a su habitación 🥰
This last photo has become a new favorite for me 🥹 To the untrained eye, it may seem as if our girls are sharing a tender moment, with the older sister expressing her love in a big hug... But in reality, she is actually whispering in her ear 😂 Our oldest daughter has gotten into the phase of whispering deep, dark secrets in people's ear 😄
Esta última foto se ha convertido en una de mis nuevas favoritas 🥹 Para el ojo inexperto, puede parecer como si nuestras niñas estuvieran compartiendo un momento tierno, con la hermana mayor expresando su amor en un gran abrazo... Pero en realidad, ella está susurrándole al oído 😂 Nuestra hija mayor ha entrado en la fase de susurrar secretos profundos y oscuros al oído de las personas 😄
