Blue-Tinted Snowy Scenery
How is everyone this week? π Here in Canada, we have still been enjoying our fill of the cooler winter months, and with it, taking in some phenomenal scenery! One of our greatest treasures here are the natural waterfalls hidden all throughout the city. We have been taking our oldest daughter with us on our outdoor treks, and I wanted to share some photos from our latest outing βοΈ

This is our little Kiva, or as we like to call her, Kiva the diva! π Although she is only 4-years-old, she has been going on hikes with us since she was a little over 2! An endless ball of energy, she completes the trips with ease, and doesn't even nap by the time she gets home π

A girl and her daddy π₯Ή Kiva definitely takes after her father more. I try my best to keep up on the adventures as well, but I get exhausted just watching these two! There will be some fun exploring for the two of them in the future π₯°

A drone shot capturing the scenery from a distance. You can see all of us standing around, with Kiva front and center π

Kiva taking some pictures of her own. Again, just like her daddy, she has taken quite an interest in photography. We bought her a child's camera for Christmas, and she absolutely loves it (she has taken nearly 600 photos since! π΅)

A shot through the ice βοΈ This is a personal favorite of mine. I love being able to capture them without them noticing (although I think Kiva MIGHT have noticed π)

More shots of our beautiful girl in the snow. I have said multiple times that if she does not grow up to be a model or an actress, I will be very surprised! π

The beautiful towering waterfall... It truly is a sight to behold, especially in the winter. This one is fascinating because there is enough space between the waterfall and the cliff to literally SIT right behind it!

Another personal favorite of mine. It is very rare to capture Kiva's quiet, thoughtful side, but I think I did a pretty good job right here πβ€οΈ I absolutely love this one!

A great one of daddy and daughter π This is the two of them INSIDE the waterfall! Kiva was rather hesitant to explore it, but thankfully she went to check it out -- and thoroughly enjoyed herself! π

Finally, here are the two of them getting down the hill. We have taught our daughter that the best way to get down is by sliding on her butt -- so that's exactly what she did! π

A trip to the snowy region has its own distinct fun where the joy of children and the time spent with adults is always remembered.

I have been dreaming that one day, I can experience walking in the snow.π
I hope that you will be able to someday soon! π Sometimes it gets a bit gloomy, especially when the sun is gone for a long time, but it's good to enjoy scenery like this β€οΈ
Freezing cold yeah π₯Ά βοΈ but glad you enjoyed the time spent.
Thank you for that, it was a lovely day π please enjoy your week!
Is that down by Hamilton somewhere? My dad lives close to Fonthill and I've always wanted to check out those falls down by Hamilton....I can't remember the name of them....Ball's Falls I think.
Yes, you're absolutely right ππ although I think Ball's Falls is somewhere in Beamsville. This one was Felker's Falls, and thankfully it is only a medium difficulty hole
i was at my Dadβs in november. i drive by the turn off to ballβs falls all the time i have never gone to check it out. iβm making excuses lol
