Another Family Outing to A Waterfall
Hello, everyone. Spring is almost officially upon us, here in Canada 🙏☀️ We have been graced with some lovely, warm weather, which is nothing short of a blessing. On these good days, we have been enjoying the weather together, as a family. This weekend, we visited Tews Falls.
We were fortunate enough to have some good weather on Saturday, which happened to be the first Sabbath that we celebrated as a family 🙏 It only seemed appropriate to spend the day out in His creation, so we took our young girls to Tews Falls.

Here, we can see my husband and children approaching one of the first of many waterfalls along the trail. It is a small one, but it is beautiful nonetheless.

We stopped quick in order to take some photos of our girls. Although they are only 4 and 2-years-old, our girls definitely take after their father, in that they have a great thirst for adventure!
(One of the photos that were taken; they look absolutely beautiful! 🥹💛)

(The stream that lazily cuts through the forest. I love this picture...)
(I saw this ancient tree towering over us. There was something quite mystical about it)

Thankfully, even in spite of such lovely weather, there weren't too many people in our presence. I don't mind seeing people, but being able to be in God's splendor without any distractions is true bliss... It was so nice to be able to listen to the bubbling running water

(Some funky little mushrooms that I saw growing on the side of this log)

These photos show off the beauty that is Tews Falls -- we finally arrived! 😃🙏 It is not a long hike, about 15 minutes, but even so, one must cross the stream in order to reach the bottom of the waterfall. My husband was a real trooper, carrying each of our girls across the stream, then dropping them off 😄

Of course, we had to snap some family photos while we were there. We don't have many together as a family, so I really appreciate each moment -- each memory -- that we are able to capture on film...

(Unfortunately, we came across a dead muskrat in the waters... Who knows how he met his demise? My husband and I speculated that he might have fallen down the waterfall)
