A Walk Through The Cherry Blossoms... (ENG-ESP)
The last photo that I took... was this one of our two beautiful daughters...

My husband had been itching to go out and visit the Cherry Blossom trees 🌸 Although we live in Canada, there are numerous areas throughout the country where Sakura trees have been donated on behalf of Japan 🇯🇵 For example, Ontario has multiple areas dotted with these pleasantly pink trees. British Columbia is another province that has been blessed with these beauties! And although Cherry Blossoms are gorgeous, unfortunately that beauty is short-lived... They typically bloom for only 2 weeks!
Mi esposo tenía muchas ganas de salir y visitar los cerezos en flor 🌸 Aunque vivimos en Canadá, hay numerosas áreas en todo el país donde los árboles de Sakura han sido donados en nombre de Japón 🇯🇵 Por ejemplo, Ontario tiene múltiples áreas salpicadas de estos árboles agradablemente rosados. ¡Columbia Británica es otra provincia que ha sido bendecida con estas bellezas! Y aunque las flores de cerezo son hermosas, desafortunadamente esa belleza dura poco... ¡Por lo general florecen solo durante 2 semanas!
So we went out to see these magnificent trees. Thankfully we are blessed enough that they are only a 10-minute bus ride away 🙏 You may not believe it from these photos, but it was packed! 😵 That's the strange thing about social influencers; they all seem to gravitate towards one area/tree! 😂 We were smart enough to simply step a bit further away and were able to capture photos with zero bystanders.
Entonces salimos a ver estos magníficos árboles. Afortunadamente, tenemos la suerte de que estén a solo 10 minutos en autobús 🙏 Puede que no lo creas al ver estas fotos, ¡pero estaba lleno! 😵 Eso es lo extraño de los influencers sociales; ¡Todos parecen gravitar hacia un área/árbol! 😂 Fuimos lo suficientemente inteligentes como para simplemente alejarnos un poco más y pudimos capturar fotos sin transeúntes.

Of course our little ones had a blast! 😂 It has still been too cold for much wildlife to make an appearance -- can you believe that?! It is almost May and we are still experiencing 10 degree Celsius weather. But born and raised as Canadians, the cold doesn't prohibit us from doing much 😄
¡Por supuesto que nuestros pequeños se lo pasaron genial! 😂 Todavía hace demasiado frío para que aparezca mucha vida silvestre, ¿puedes creerlo? Es casi mayo y todavía tenemos un clima de 10 grados centígrados. Pero nacidos y criados como canadienses, el frío no nos impide hacer mucho 😄
Later in the evening, my husband went back to the park in order to take some nighttime photography. His specialties are long-exposure photos and steel wool, and last night he wanted to try steel wool. I was a bit apprehensive about such heat being near the Cherry Blossoms! 😖 But thankfully everything went fine -- more than fine! His photos turned out incredible 🙏
Más tarde esa noche, mi esposo regresó al parque para tomar algunas fotografías nocturnas. Sus especialidades son las fotografías de larga exposición y la lana de acero, y anoche quiso probar la lana de acero. ¡Estaba un poco preocupado por el calor que había cerca de los cerezos en flor! 😖 Pero afortunadamente todo salió bien, ¡más que bien! Sus fotos quedaron increíbles 🙏

I live well east of Vancouver in BC and we are certainly blessed to have these trees, I can never get tired of seeing these bloom.

Wow, que fotografías tan preciosas. Realmente me gustaron al igual que tú historia detrás de ellas. Aquí en Venezuela no hay árboles de cerezo pero si unos árboles que florecen en rosa, muy parecidos. Me gusta la fotografía de larga exposición.

Wow... Those pictures are absolutly amazing 😍 such beautiful cherry trees and to see that many in one place blooming makes it look like a magic forest. Being outside in nature does wonders for the Soul and mind and a view like that... Magical.
