Portfolio: The provocative expressiveness in the photographs of Roland Stoops

If something is clear when seeing the work of Ronald Stoop, it is that his images do not go unnoticed, since the expressive force of his work is unquestionable. Whether through color, contrast, light management, or the rawness and challenge presented by his images, all of them manage to cause an effect on us.

His approach is experimental and somewhat disturbing, but always well cared for and of unquestionable quality. He studied photography in Antwerpen and quickly became the associate photographer for the Antwerpen Six fashion productions.

He is primarily known for his work in fashion photography, having worked with some of the world's most unique, talented and original fashion designers such as Jurgi Persoons, Raf Simons, AF Vandervost and Veronique Branquinho.

He has worked in editorials for magazines such as Self Service, iD, Dazed, V and A Magazine, Purple, View on Colors among others. I share with you a sample of his work, which you can find on various online platforms, as well as in an account on Instagram.
