#Wednesday Walk Taking In The Sun At Broadstairs.
Dumpton Gap is a very quiet area of the beach and was empty when we arrived at 1pm! Dogs are welcome all year round which was great for us to just chill out and have fun. The stunning jurassic cliffs dominate the south coast, from sandstone to chalk and are amazing to see in person.
Who knows what fossils & secrets lie just below the surface!
Looking south towards Ramsgate.
Looking north back towards the Gap.
Walking north for a few minutes along purpose built sea defences around the base of the cliffs.
Now we arrive at Broadstairs. If the average person were to imagine a seaside town, this is essentially what a good ole British weekend break looks like. During any given holiday this area is absolutely packed- despite visiting between late afternoon into the evening on a week day, I was lucky enough to avoid any crowds.
Smaller sun trap beach top the south.
Vertorama above one of the beaches looking north.
Seen below is the tidal pool being engulfed as the tide came in.
Even though it looks like a pleasant day, it was very windy so I had to take my chances to get some shots of the coastline. There was no way any 360 shots and resulting tiny planets could be made.
I am very confident in the capability of the drone but always aware of gusts!
I can't wait to go back to the area at some point to explore further north around the coast towards Margate and Herne Bay!
Take care for now!
