sorry but this is not a Josta berry it's a gooseberry
the jostaberry is similar to the redcurrant
just black and with a bit of an onion smell

Nice plant. But is it a different type of Jostaberries. Because they r black in color. I think.

We have a tree, but I fear the birds may already have taken the fruit. I mix them with other berries to have with my breakfast
