In you I lost myself again to find myself again.

Once again I lost myself in love, I lost myself in you when you left and I lost the light I had found by your side.

I felt again in that forgotten corner of failed loves and unfinished relationships. I lost again that part of me that lived in another and gave me the courage to let myself go to new places inside you and inside my soul when you were with me.

Again I stopped seeing joy around me, everything became small, my world became narrow. I stopped looking for colors and could no longer find brightness in the sunset.

Wandering in your departure I suddenly found myself so lonely that I could see myself standing walking beside me aimlessly and senselessly. Sadness made its way to drown me in tears and yet it was not enough to let out all the pain of my broken heart and my drifting illusions.

I only know that one day everything was silent, the breeze stopped and only a little light entered through my lost look. Something strange happened, I felt I had to pluck all my feathers like the old eagle that wants to renew itself hidden in the mountain peaks.

Little by little I was running out of shadows to cover me, the light became stronger, it wrapped me up and sheltered me again. I felt my pain lessen and become more insignificant.

I felt different, I began to explore myself, to know myself in the clarity, to reconcile myself with my light. Suddenly I smiled, I saw myself, it was me, me again looking through the window that opened the world to me.

Feelings that took me from one side to another through a turbulent flow of emotions suddenly brought me closer to a haven of tranquility and calmness where I could again feel the warm breeze on my face without tears. I smiled, yes, I smiled once again and there I was, finding myself again.

I surrender again and let myself be carried away by that light that guides my destiny and feeds my deepest feelings. I will love again, I will believe again and I will walk again holding hands.

Let time decide when it is my time.
