The Visual Monomad Photographic Challenge My Entry # 364 ~ Acehnese culture welcomes the Holy Month of Ramadhan

Hello my friends..
As usual, on the daily monomad Challenge I want to contribute my entry for the Challenge And this is the entry for the Monomad Challenge this time.

Indonesia is an archipelagic country and also has dozens of city districts spread throughout Indonesia. Well, every region certainly has its own customs and culture. As we know, the customs and culture in each region have their own unique characteristics that other regions do not have.

As is the tradition of welcoming the holy month of Ramadan. This tradition is called Meugang. Meugang Day is only held one day before entering the month of Ramadan.

This activity is slaughtering a cow and cooking it to eat with the family. So, in this tradition, the whole family goes home and gathers at their parents' house. Starting from overseas or close family. Everyone gathers and eats meat together.

This tradition has existed since ancient times and is still preserved today. This tradition is also carried out every year 1 day before the month of Ramadan. Well, here are some visuals that I share and take part in the black and white photography challenge in this amazing community.
