The process of making traditional Aceh musical instruments (Rapa'i)
As usual, on the daily monomad Challenge I want to contribute my entry for the Challenge And this is the entry for the Monomad Challenge this time. Musical instruments are an integral part of our lives. There are various types of musical instruments today that have been combined with modern methods. Even so, traditional musical instruments are still in use today. Even in Indonesia, which has differences in each region. As in Aceh, Aceh has traditional musical instruments that are still preserved today.
This rapai musical instrument is made of selected wood which will be covered with goat skin on its surface. Musical instruments played by hand and usually played in groups. The wood used is selected wood that has an old age. According to the craftsmen I met, if you use haphazard wood. Thus, these traditional musical instruments do not emit the appropriate tone.
Alright, here's my post this time and some photos that I share on this occasion with all of you. Hope you guys like it.
