As some of you know something that I love very much is this beautiful art of makeup to such an extent that I decided to study it to acquire more knowledge, so much so that I still continue taking courses from time to time to keep updated with new trends and so on.

In my blog I usually upload mostly social makeup tutorials, but something that I also love are the artistic makeup; the fact that it allows us to play with the infinite possibilities that colors give us, especially the textures and shapes, the fact that the canvas will be the face or the body (when it comes to body painting) seems beautiful and even exciting to me. What I like the most is that this type of makeup includes other accessories such as stones, glitter, feathers, headdresses and others, the idea is that it is much more noticeable and different from a conventional makeup.

Over the years I have learned new techniques and tricks for this type of makeup, from types of paints to use latex which I have much respect for, although I am not an expert in this area as such and I still have much to learn I want to share these photos of my evolution over the years.

I couldn't upload all the photos of them but here are the ones that have marked me the most, starting from the simplest artistic makeups to the most elaborate ones that would fall into the FX category due to the use of latex, prosthetics and fake blood, the latter I still have to learn and polish a lot more but the truth is that little by little I lost my fear of it and I let myself get carried away by creativity and emotion; so I hope you like them. Como algunos saben algo que me gusta muchísimo es este bonito arte del maquillaje a tal punto que decidí estudiarlo para adquirir más conocimiento, tanto así que aún sigo tomando cursos de vez en cuando para irme actualizando con las nuevas tendencias y demás.

En mi blog suelo subir más que todo tutoriales de maquillajes sociales, pero algo que también me encanta son los maquillajes artísticos; el hecho de que nos permite jugar con las infinitas posibilidades que nos dan los colores, sobre todo las texturas y formas, el hecho de que el lienzo será el rostro o el cuerpo (cuando de body painting se trata) me parece hermoso y hasta emocionante. Lo que más me gusta es que este tipo de maquillaje incluye otros accesorios como las piedras, el brillo, plumas, tocados y demás, la idea es que sea mucho más notorio y diferente a un maquillaje convencional.

Con el paso de los años he aprendido nuevas técnicas y trucos para este tipo de maquillajes, desde tipos de pinturas hasta utilizar el látex al cual le tengo mucho respeto, aunque no sea una experta en esta área como tal y aún me falte mucho por aprender les quiero compartir estas fotos de mi evolución a través de los años.

No pude subirlas todas pero por aquí les dejo estas que son las que más me han marcado empezando desde los maquillajes artísticos más sencillos a los más trabajados que entrarían a la categoría FX por el uso de látex, prótesis y sangre falsa, de este último todavía me toca aprender y pulir mucho más pero la verdad es que poco a poco le fui perdiendo el miedo y me fui dejando llevar por la creatividad y emoción; así que espero les gusten.
