When life gets blurry, adjust your focus. (Unknown)

Hello, friends on Hive and photography lovers. When we want to achieve something, we need to focus. Today, I found my focus, something I enjoy doing, and where I can put my mind and heart into. I found macro photography. This community and posts from friends who also love macro photography have inspired me to try it. I am a newbie on this and I have a lot more to learn so I can take better photos. But I still want to share my first few photos and maybe you can add a comment or drop some tips on what I should improve. I would appreciate it. I only use my cellphone with an attached macro lens to do the trick.

I woke to a cold morning today, the surroundings drenched due to a heavy downpour last night. Droplets of rainwater on leaves and flowers seemed to be resisting gravity as they slowly dropped to the ground. This scenario was a chance for me to get my phone and capture the moment in focus. The water droplets were in the perfect position and time for this dramatic capture before hitting the ground.

Water is life as they say. The water just added more life to the plants. They look more vibrant and flourishing.

As I shifted my lens to other plant leaves, I found these small insects having their drinking sessions. It is not often that I get to see or observe these organisms do the most basic thing to live. It didn't even cross my mind that these small creations drink water too. These photos remind me of life at its most basic. No worries, everything we need to survive is provided to us by mother nature. That is how nurturing she is.

As I walk farther to find more, I saw the beautiful flowers dampen in their most beautiful and refreshing looks. They were breathtaking! I couldn't help but take more photos of it, especially the roses. They were just too pretty at any angle.

And finally, I found this blue fly again. This time I was able to take a better photo of it.

These macro photos made me see the beauty up close and in focus. When we focus on something, we can see it from a different perspective.
