Macro Photography - Different kinds of backyard grasshoppers
Since I have nothing to do today, I decided to go out to our backyard.. with no specific subject to photograph, I just explored.. When I stepped on a thick grass, something so small jump out of it.. so, I got curious of what they are.. Then I saw a grasshopper. just the common green grasshopper..
But after that, something jumped in front of me.. I really thought it was another grasshopper,, but I noticed, it has longer hind legs.. So now, I'm not sure.. Please let me know if this is a grasshopper, too.. I just took a photo of it.
Then I saw another one.. but this time with the different color.. It's black with a little bit of orange and white..
I took more photos but I decided to stop because something is biting me now,, nope, they weren't grasshoppers, it's the mosquitos 🤣.. I hate mosquitos so I jumped out of the backyard and call it a day..

Nice shots! If it were me, I won't even bother to take a picture. I would catch them and play with it, then make it my pet. Of course, I'm not harming it, I just like feeding it, then free it back to the leaves afterwards.
