Culture in a Dance: Experiencing Entertainment with Our Province's Culture

Today i will share some photos that i took, this photos is a dancer that portraying the culture of the province of the Guimaras..
You can sometimes see these dancers whenever there is a small or major event being held in the province of Guimaras. They perform in front of the Capitol, and whenever tourists visit Guimaras, they are the ones who entertain them through cultural dances. They showcase the culture and traditions of the entire province, especially the Mangahan Festival, which has also become well-known around the world.

There are two major festivals held every year in the province of Guimaras. One is the Manggahan Festival, which is already famous and recognized in different countries. The other is the Dragon Fruit Festival, which is gradually being introduced to show that Guimaras is not only known for its mangoes but also produces delicious dragon fruit.
The different municipalities in the province also hold their own festivals. For example, the Municipality of Nueva Valencia celebrates the Sadsaran Festival, while the Municipality of Buenavista celebrates the Palayag Festival.

Culture is an important part of every community because it represents the traditions,.. beliefs, values,. customs, language, food, clothing, celebrations, and ways of life that are passed down from one generation to another...

I’ve been to Guimaras Island, and all I can say is that it is such a beautiful place. One thing that really caught my attention was what happened when we arrived at the pier. Our bags were checked to make sure that we weren’t bringing any mangoes from where we came from.
We were told that this was to help protect the distinct quality of Guimaras mangoes and prevent them from being mixed with mangoes from other places. Guimaras is well known for its mangoes, which are famous for being exceptionally sweet and delicious.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous Guimaras mangoes ourselves. In fact, we even went to a café that offered mango-flavored pizza, and surprisingly, it was so delicious! It was definitely one of the unique food experiences I had during our visit to Guimaras.

I'm pretty sure that you were entertained by the culture and the traditions there because there were fiesta that happened in your plcae and it will happen once in a year. I want to try the dragon fruit in Guimaras someday.
