A Long Walk: From Important Matters to Watching Kids Enjoy playing Basketball

Hello everyone.. have a nice day to you all where ever part of the world you are right now.

Yesterday, my wife and I went to town to pick up some documents that we had asked an acquaintance to print for us. When we arrived, they weren’t finished yet, but it was okay because they wouldn’t take long to print. These were requirements for our child’s college scholarship application after graduating from senior high school.
After we picked up the printed documents, we still needed to go to the barangay hall because there were additional requirements that we needed to submit, including documents that needed the barangay captain’s signature.
Since it was nearby, we decided to walk there so we could get some exercise as well. We both feel that we have been gaining weight and don’t exercise regularly only once in a while when we feel like it. 😅

After we arrived and finished getting the documents signed and completing the additional requirements, we left. Since it was still early and we didn’t have anything else to do at home, we decided to continue walking toward the Capitol, which was only about a kilometer away.

Since the sun was still out, there weren’t many people around yet. It was the same at the Dragon Fruit Festival, where there weren’t many visitors either.
I went to the basketball court in front of the Capitol and saw some children happily playing basketball. I decided to take some photos of them, and these are the pictures I captured. 📸🏀

On the other side of the basketball court, I saw a father happily playing basketball with his two children, a daughter and a son.

I was still happily watching the children play when my wife suddenly called me and told me that we needed to go home because she still had something to do. So, we decided to walk home instead, giving us a chance to get some exercise, even if it’s only once in a while. 😊
