Only She Saw Me There
Children are so special and different from the adults they will become, they are so different from the adults we are now.
Children don't know this and one of their great desires is to be like us grown-ups. Children don't know that nothing is more beautiful than their childhood!
I often take walks in parks for photography. I try as best I can to make myself invisible and not be seen by the people I am trying to photograph. Both so as not to disturb them and so as not to lose the naturalness of their behavior. Every human who knows he is being photographed instantly changes his attitude, posture, and look, and becomes more rigid and eager to look good in the photo but it often happens the opposite.
I saw two old ladies with a very young girl, probably the granddaughter of one of them... or maybe they were both grandparents? Their attention was drawn to something happening on the little pond. I wanted to take advantage of being invisible to them at the time and snap a few photos. I was glad they didn't see me until I got home and checked the photos.
The little girl saw me.
Only She Saw Me There!
Her childlike curiosity and desire to see as much as possible plus the agility to see any movement next to her made her more interested in what I was doing than what happened on the pond...
The beautiful childhood that when we are children seems too long and only when we become adults do we understand what we have lost!
I was on my usual monthly walk through the Circus Park in Bucharest. This is a small park that is very dear to me.
I have an hour to walk around and photograph. The park is small and there's not much to photograph, I'm referring now to the unchanged landscape. I have photographed hundreds of times and of course, the photos are not identical, even though I am photographing pretty much the same thing. What changes are the people and the little animals that live here...
This time I saw something new. For the first time, I met someone who cares about flowers.
Otherwise, I have started the battle of converting from color to black and white. Hard, very hard, and pretty much nothing matches and I can't find those photos that look the way I want in monochrome.
I see it as trying and wanting to evolve.

I still shoot color and convert to black and white. I need to try shooting straight black and white.
Maybe next time!
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
My favourite image is the staircase but also the birds. It's beautiful to camp even people's words or when they point at things. Great shots!😃
Thanks! This time my favorite doesn't match your favorite...
There is no problem, diversity is good!😃
Definitely!
Beautiful moments you captured in these photos. 🥰
Thanks!
