A beautiful autumn day was the day before yesterday

A beautiful autumn day, if it happens to be Sunday, will probably be memorable. The more complicated times of recent years are awakening, at least in me, a desire to make the most of every day of my life, a desire to make every day special. The years that pile up so quickly and press on my back contribute to this attitude.

Obviously, wishing is wishing, but I still have to agree with my strength, and I can't always have the days I want. But I strive to learn to extract the beauty from everything around me and forget about what spoils our lives, the bad and the ugly, the violence and the lack of empathy.

The color red!

Beautiful autumn is like a less hot summer, with gentle sunshine, cool evenings and nights, with flowers eager to display all their beauty, with intense colors...

It's enough to sit in my little yard and look at the most colorful tree I own, a Japanese maple with green leaves in summer but so intensely red in late fall.

As a curiosity of nature, the leaves of this shrub, which are now orange, in summer are... red.

Still, the Japanese maple remains my favorite, it is such a special and priceless tree, spreading beauty for over twenty years since I received it as a gift from my wife.

I wonder if, after we fall, my wife and I, like the leaves of the maple tree...

...will our son and granddaughter keep these trees to remind them of us? I hope they will!

Another beautiful autumn day was yesterday

It was a beautiful day, but totally different. It rained! For the first time in many months, such rain is to be expected both by nature and people.

A walk in the rain, especially as it was a gentle and quiet rain, gave the day charm and beauty.

A walk in the suburb where I live. With water running down my face I looked for something special to photograph. Because whether it's sunny, raining, or snowing, the ultimate pleasure is to photograph.

A wild vine, left leafless, displays its blue fruit. A good subject for some macro shots.

The few remaining leaves show their beauty but also the color path from green to orange.

My favorite season since childhood has been summer but I feel more and more strongly that autumn now fits my life best. Not because I would like this, but because I have no way to oppose it!
