A pleasant Monday, y'all amazing people!
I mentioned in my previous post that my daughter and I went to visit my mom in the countryside, about a 20-minute ride from our house. We stayed there for a day and got back home yesterday around noon. Just before I put back all our bags inside the house, I noticed one of my yard plants already showing off its flowers. It's one of my favorite hanging plants I got from my mom's during the pandemic. It's called watermelon begonia.
This kind of plant is typically a house plant in a hanging basket, like what I did. Its leaves are small, elongated in shape, and have some kind of wavy edge in a green and purpish color combination. So anyway, it is its season to bloom, and it is only seasonal. It blooms in the early months of October until early December. This is its third bloom since I got it from my mom. I was delighted when I saw a few clusters of its flowers, and I immediately took some photos in macro. The flowers look like a miniature bouquet, and you won't notice unless you see them very closely. It is prettier in macro shots, so here they are. I thought it would be nice to shoot them in monochrome as well. Its original color is light orange-yellow. This is my entry to @photofeed's Black and White Photography Round 47.
Thank you for stopping by. Big hugs to all.
