Hello there, amazing people!
Back in December last year - just a few days before Christmas, I considered taking my daughter somewhere for a quick getaway - somewhwere we have never been. It was a holiday and I thought we needed a breather. Since we both love nature, a trip to the mountain of flowers would be amazing. This is by far the prettiest garden I've seen on the internet, which is close to our home. To get there, we had to travel for roughly four hours (La Union - Baguio - Atok, Benguet).
We left the house just before the sunrise and arrived in Baguio City after 2 hours. We picked up my friends before heading straight to the Atok where the garden is located. The place is called "The Northern Blossom" - a two-hectare mountain farm and owned by Melany Ganayan and her husband. We had to travel another 2 hours and we landed there just before lunch time.
The farm has gorgeous mountain and cloud views with splendid vibrant flowers like sunflowers, marigolds, succulents, roses, rice flowers, dusty miller, alstroemeria, cabbage roses, delphiniums,
and so many others planted in rolling fields. It's so beautiful and it resembles like those gardens in Netherlands. We first stopped at the snapdragon fields and I swear, I could just sit there all day. We did not waste any minutes and began capturing photos. The snapdragons are very pretty in red, pink, white and orange hues.
It's amazing, we had an assigned guide to tour us around the farm and I was very impressed how he takes photos and as we went from flower fields to another, he filled us in with lots of flower information. Ain't that cool?
Anyway, I'd love to discuss more about the other flowers next time. But today, enjoy these Snapdragons and hello to y'all. Have a good one wherever you are!
