Greetings Dear Art Appreciators;

.
Hope you are well and enjoying the weather wherever you are.
.

Such a Spring we have had with its bright sunlit days, accompanied by the occasional bitter cold blustery winds and last but not least the blooming of the season's cheerful and colourful fleurs. It is this essence of the Spring season which Bleujay hopes to communicate through this painting...'Pansy Fleur Wallpaper'.

There are times an artist is painting for the sake of practice, for the sheer fun of it, or for the purpose of communicating a thought......sometimes all three are in the mix. This watercolour painting is one of those...presented for your enjoyment.

Wishing you and yours all the best...God's best!
.

'...Jesus said....I am the way, the truth and the life....no man cometh to the Father but by Me.' John 14.6

It is faith alone in Christ alone for Eternal life.
.

Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

.
Kind Regards, Bleujay

Here it's a cold and rainy spring, never seen such a bad one!

Indeed, artists want to communicate, or just simple do, because they like it... After all you can't be an artist if you don't like to make art, it would come out obviously ruined and bad

Have a good weekend!

Oh @bleujay friend, you have brightened my morning immensely!... Here is a day with radiant sunshine after many days of rain and this artistic work of yours done in watercolor was the perfect complement to it!... I showed it to my mother who came to my studio for a moment and was delighted to see it!... She sends you congratulations and thanks for sharing that artistic magic... Also for that phrase of the Master Jesús in John 14:6 which she has repeated to us since we can remember and frequently indeed... A hug and blessings to you and those close to you!... It has been a pleasure to look at your work today!...

How very kind of you to relay your's and your Mother's thoughts regarding the artwork...thank you and thank you.

It is quite awesome to hear how Christ's words can impact a life...it is timeless, knows no boundary....and how we both heard of His Word in our childhood....especially through our mothers.

Thank you for dropping by today for a cuppa....appreciate the splendid encouraging words, Discovery recommendation and tokens. ^__^

Please pass my Kind Regards to your Mother.

Burst of great colors...
From the yellow to the pink and the orange, with that ash background. The detail is great.
This one must've been harder to finish because of the many colors you needed to paint after doing the main sketch..

...Jesus said....I am the way, the truth and the life....no man cometh to the Father but by Me.' John 14.6

Some word of life from the Bible, thanks for that....

I wonder how long it would take to make these pieces of art. It's incredible to imagine that a painter could take just a few minutes or maybe an hour or two to finish everything.

Your flower-inspired works are incredible and beautiful. I'm going to show them to my mother, because she likes to plant some roses in her house.

Greetings @coyotelation ,

Very kind of you to drop by with your kind query and thoughts.

The idea, composition, colour choices, drawing can take up to a year or more....once the artist picks up the paintbrush...three weeks or more to finish a painting of this size...for Bleujay.

Appreciate your compliments.

Please do show your Mother, since she is quite keen on flowers. ^__^

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Greetings, friend, as always, I hope you and your family have a happy weekend. I also congratulate you on your watercolor painting. One question: how long does it take you to complete the painting, and if so, is it inspiration? I always try to replicate what I can observe in nature.

Greetings @hjrrodriguez ,

Thank you for dropping by with your kind wishes, compliment and query.

Here's wishing you and yours the same.

To answer your query...once I am ready to pick up the paintbrush it can take up to three weeks or more to complete the painting....something like that. Inspiration is a factor in the beginning idea stage....later on it is the desire to see the completed painting....rather like reading a good book...however you will miss all the characters when you finish it. ^__^

Kind Regards to your familia,

Funny you say that....yes..the whole family likes it better in person. ^__^

What I would recommend for anyone who would enjoy having a go at their inner artist...as I think everyone has one...whether it is expressed in poetry, art in any media....is to take 15, 10 or even 5 minutes and open up a small, small journal with quality paper and write a thought or draw or paint. The smallness of it allows one to get something done in those few minutes...and then the next day...on to the next page. Make sense?

Take Care...Kindest Regards, Bleujay

Makes perfect sense my friend! I agree but sometimes I find it hard to find that "creative" spark or "artistic" flow? Even aiming to write a post of Hive half the time I stare at the words on my screen.

I did previously throughout my life try my hand at drawing, painting, sketching but I just lack the artistic touch! It's okay though I've learned to live with it, I can admire true talent instead like yourself :)

Take care my friend! Best regards

Even though the purple in your watercolour painting constitutes a small part of the overall piece for some reason it stands out and for me is the best part, what a lovely colour amongst all the others. Always great to see your working processes @bleujay, it gives me hope that perhaps one day when I get the time I just might indulge also.

The photo of the purple flower while a delightful picture is no match for your watercolour translation. The final product of your painting is a glorious colourful bouquet and a soothing site for the eyes.

A glorious post!

Seeing the whole picture at once before the watercolor paints are applied to the paper is sometimes very difficult, but it is incredibly interesting, you @bleujay have a God-given talent to see this and embody it on paper.

How very kind of you to drop by with your splendid comment and lovely tokens....thank you.

I know you are correct...there are many things about ourselves we have no control over such as when we were born, where we were born etc. and I would certainly add talent to the list...all under God's charge. It bears pondering from time to time.

Happy to hear your thoughts with regard to the presentation of the process.

Praying for you and your family.

Talent from God is always more stable than what we invent for ourselves @bleujay, it either exists or it doesn't... yes, you can learn something, spend your time, but only talent received as a gift brings joy :)

Another solid piece. It is interesting to see the progression of your art and how the composition is created right from the first rough illustrated outline really need to see it go from that point all the way to the finished colourful flower explosion.
