Este domingo que pasó, tuve el placer de ir con amigos a visitar el Centro Cultural Nestor Kirchner (CCK). Este lugar es uno de los Centros Culturales públicos mas grandes del MUNDO.

Es un edificio muy interesante, que solía funcionar como Correo Central. Actualmente, desde que se habilitó como Centro Cultural, se encuentra dividido internamente en dos. La mitad mantiene su estructura original, y la otra mitad se remodeló con materiales y diseño mas modernos.

A través de los diferentes pisos, se pueden visitar una gran cantidad de exposiciones de arte, como pinturas, esculturas, experiencias inmersivas que homenajean a diferentes personalidades, y demás. También cuenta con un auditorio con una excelente acústica donde siempre se hacen eventos musicales y/o obras de teatro, o diferentes eventos. Este mes por ejemplo hay un festival de poesía.

Pero lo mas lindo y por lo que fui esta vez, es porque después de mucho tiempo, ahora se permite el acceso al Piso 9, que tiene unas hermosas vistas de la ciudad. Y no solo eso, sino que justo cuando fui estaban dejando salir a la terraza, que es muy exclusiva. Y no puedo explicar con palabras lo feliz que me hizo poder tener el honor, después de tantos años de haber visto esa cúpula desde lejos.

This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of going with friends to visit the Nestor Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK). This place is one of the biggest public Cultural Centers in the WORLD.

It is a very interesting building, which used to function as the Central Post Office. Nowadays, since it was habilitated as a Cultural Center, it is divided internally in two. Half of it maintains its original structure, and the other half was remodeled with more modern materials and design.

Throughout the different floors, you can visit a large number of art exhibitions, such as paintings, sculptures, immersive experiences that pay tribute to different personalities, and others. It also has an auditorium with excellent acoustics where there are always musical events and/or plays, or different events. This month for example there is a poetry festival.

But the nicest thing and why I went this time, is because after a long time, now they allow access to the 9th floor, which has beautiful views of the city. And not only that, but just when I went, they were letting out the terrace, which is very exclusive. And I can't explain in words how happy I was to be able to have the honor, after so many years of having seen that dome from afar.
